Frustrating that if you stay at a hotel for long distance travel it seems you’d need to leave the locked box in the trunk “out of reach” where it is more likely to get stolen than if you brought it in with luggage. I’d even break it down to the point it is unfireable if that was an approved method of keeping it in sight to ensure it doesn’t end up in the wrong hands.

My father left me his gun collection, which is made up of hand guns and rifles, which I need to move from Minnesota to Nevada, so I wondering what the best way to do this would be. Would driving them or having something like the USPS or someone else be the best way to transport them be? Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
