Thanks for sharing, when I purchased some land in Nigeria. My friend took me to a lawyer and suggested that I hire a government official surveyor. The surveyor advised that we place some material on the land, to keep people from trying to claim my land. Building a concrete fence on my property was the first thing I have done.

Great suggestions, currently still in the U.S. and have experienced issues with contractors in North America. Always important to monitor, monitor, monitor, and be on worksite.

Thank you both for being so detailed, for always keeping it real, and for your honesty in how the process of having your house built could go wrong if you are not on top of things! I had no clue that there were so many steps or thought about the small things to watch out for, or really how much a women could say or do when it comes to input about her house being built over there. In fact, I only heard horror stories abt ppl being duped into buying land already sold 20x's over, getting cheap supplies instead of the one they wanted, having cheap or bad foundations built, to the men not listening to women, and basically just building their houses the way they wanted to. And thank you for the advice about not sending money to ANYONE. A brother from the Diaspora wants the full amount of the house in 10 days in order to get it at half price, and a house in 3 yrs. After watching your video, I am now super leerie of sending my money to him, Diaspora dealing or not! In fact, I will be coming down to check things out myself and do a lot of research like you mentioned. Thanks again for all your videos, and for being 2 beautiful souls! Dear Mr. Sweet Daddy I would like to start off saying congratulations your getting things done around Gambia home sweet home one of my biggest dreams since 1965 at the age of 4 years old I'll be there one day once I get all these paperwork signed and done cause that here my money at so I may live there I being study on the land there and I found a good realtor whom can build 7 homes for me which is call a compound complex cause I'm a single man and one wife is not going to do for me , now I saw your video preparing for the rainy season my plans is to bring my own equipment lawn mowers, bulldozers, trackers and my own asphalt and trucks, hoping the neighborhood doesn't mean a little brother to brother sharing cause we all have to drive to the store and it will also help keep down snakes and. The place a gate up is a great idea cause having all those women around I hate to find Jody creeping around my home cause I'm not trying to find myself and a Africa incarceration from putting my foot up someone ----?
