Hi..how about microwavable rice & processed food from Korea (such as porridge, soup, kimchi, laver and canned side dishes)? All these items are commercially produced and packed (comes in can and pouch).

Thanks a lot for this video and when I travelled to Australia with my daughter who was 11 months old and I was a feeding mother,they allowed 2kgs of rice, noodles, small packed ghee but we declared every thing and they asked few questions and checked my language and discarded just few fresh fruits and onions which I got from India

That’s the thing, declare it and you are good to go, the problem is when you don’t declare it.

Hey, what about kitchen knives and peelers ? Is it allowed to carry them in Check in luggage ? I hope its fine to carry steel dishes & hair straighteners ? Thanks

Steel dishes and hair straightener is fine, avoid knife and peeler, you can find cheap ones here. Knives are prohibited items.

So you will have an option to tick if you have animal product ( leather is one of them) so just tick that. Hair dryer comb is fine. Don’t be scared just stay calm and confident :)

Luggage bag. But you get toasters for 15$ here, its very cheap, why would you want to get it from India. It might not even work properly here.

The Australian border force website states that you will have to declare gold jewellery if they are worth more than 1000AUD (53000 INR approx) and they will be assessed for GST and duty. If you want to get them, wear some of them while coming to Australia as I did, otherwise put it in your checked luggage NOT in the carry-on.

Buy ur vitamins here or else if you plan to get them, declare it on the passenger card under medicines. Pencils yes of course, new ones, don’t sharpen them. Weighing scale would not advise to get it. You can easily find it here.
