I've had three German Shephards with few issues. The first thing you teach them is what the word "no" means. Then, you avoid many unwanted behaviors that can happen with any dog.

My German shepard is Awesome, She will protect on command. For new owners, keep Your puppy in a kennel , they will run away , until they are two years old. I had a very large kennel and also put Her on a zip line for front of the house. They love traveling and being with thier family.

You left out the bites and cuts to your hands, arms and legs while they are puppies. I had to use Super Glue so many times instead of going to the ER!
