I have driven my Bolero Neo 10000 km but touchwood I have not faced any problem particularly the one you said...DPF block..... Bolero Neo is one of the best proper sub 4 meter SUV ....I am fully satisfied with my Neo ....I love my Bolero Neo..

This guy is rejecting a good vehicle just because the Mahindra service center near him charged him extra 700 rupees for something that was important for his own vehicle. I don't know why people have a habit of crying over small things. Live your life my friend while you can.

Usually "DPF blocked" issue happens in diesel car when you drive for long at low RPM. Soot would build up and would require cleaning of the exhaust pipe. If you keep a constant 2500 rpm+ drive for around 30-45 mins, DPF blocked should resolve itself. So, if you are driving low rpm (within city) for long time, exhaust soot will build up and will cause DPF block. So next time you get DPF blinker, go for a long drive on a highway, where you can drive at high RPMs. Hope this information helps.

I own a Bolero neo N10 and it's the best decision I have made choosing this over the other so called compact SUVs, I have driven it for 18000 kms and also had made a long trip of 7000kms in 3 weeks the car is very comfortable for long routes and not faced the DEF issue so far. As I have driven it on hills too, the body roll is there but you will have to adapt to it and you can't compare it to a hatchback it's a Mahindra suv it can do things that a hatchback can't. Both of them are different segments so it will take time for you to adjust. And the rattling noise a little bit will be there and will grow with time, as for me not faced too much of it yet. Also if your issues are not fixed try going to another Mahindra workshop or may be some problem in the unit you received. Hope it gets fixed and enjoy your drive.

Driven bolero neo for about 8000 kms. Never once faced issue with dpf. I would suggest that drivers carefully review their driving pattern and traffic conditions in which they may often drive. Heavy traffic conditions and heavy accelerations are reasons why filter may get chocked.

DEF ka issue to nahi hai NEO me 9000 KM tak to aya nahi. Body roll hai but majorly at above 85 speed when take little sharp movement. Sedan jaise ride to fortuner jaisi costly cars bhi nahi deti. Baki sab thik hai. Average 17 to 18 easily. Keep tyre pressure between 33 to 35 for best ride quality.

Dpf will get blocked if you drive continuously in the city...not a surprise....in the owners manual steps are given in detail to resolve dpf block....you can do regen by yourself....no need to go to the service centre. Also, for DEF, it will warn you 3 times before car stops moving...2400km 1200km and 800 km...its a pretty good car for the budget and gives a solid feel to drive

I did not realize I wasted 10 min watching his personal opinion. Looks like physically he got into his SUV but his mind is still stuck in hatchback.. if you are complaining so much about body roll, you can try driving your hatchback on the bad roads and steep roads.
