I am convinced that your inner state is infinitely more important than the color of the clothes you wear. You can be happy while wearing black and miserable while wearing white and vise versa.

When I was spiritually dead I always picked the black option of clothes. When I started to awaken and heal I was drawn back to colours especially my favorite since childhood, purple! Especially lilac purple. But also red and pink I love a lot.

Black, like the night sky is the background color of the cosmos. When I wear black I feel connected to everything! When I wear white? Bleh! I can't stand the feel of white shirts on my torso. I feel so disconnected and "off".

@@m2pozad That is a good example. The colors reflect the cleanliness of the auric field, the health rays and the chakras themselves. If there is contamination and congestion, negative, unauthorized and draining cords, the more dreary, dingy the color of the clothes will be. Grays, muted colors, dark colors will be the ones the person chooses because it feels, "comfortable." When you don't feel good wearing bright whites, golds, yellows, reds, etc. there is a lack of resonance coming from the inside out of the soul. Clothing is merely a reflection of the soul's state at the moment. It can change in a matter of days or if it's moral or ethical in manner it may take lifetimes.

Wear navy blue as substitute. And if you can, when you can , avoid such colors in upper part of body near face. Also combine with some other color you like. 💜

I loved this. Just the other day I was talking about being buried and yes I know its morbid & saddening, but it's a reality that I have to come to terms with. Anyways, I said that I wanted to be buried in white and along comes this upload. I never heard of Sadguhru before, my point that I am trying to make is yes, the universe is listening to us. When I was depressed all I wore was black scarves, socks, jeans, sweaters, shirts. Wearing brighter colors seems to help.

You should wear black in positive settings. If you are depressed, wearing black in birthday parties or parties where the vibe isn’t negative and only positive you too will imbibe that atmosphere. The color of black like sadghuru mentions absorbs everything so if you are in a positive environment you will autmocatly imbibe it. Black isn’t a bad color it’s just you should know when to use it

At Isha Foundation (Coimbatore), people wear a black shawl when sitting in the Dhyanalinga temple to absorb the positive energies of the Dhyanalinga. During the consecration of the Naga deity (Naga Pratishtha event) we all wore a black shawl while chanting mantras.

Black is color of Saturn that is very hard, heavy planet. Saturn brings delays, difficulties, hardships ... Not everyone is qualified to wear black. You can see that black color on some people looks gorgeous and on some dreadful. Those who don't look good in black color should not wear because probably is not auspicious color for them anyway. Especially is not good near the face.

It is interesting to see in most comments that somehow black was said to be negative? I believe the whole presentation is about choosing when to wear one or the other? Neither is bad or good. The choice has to be right for the appropriate time. Don't you have situations where you really want to absorb the amazing energy around you? So in that case black is your friend !

His history starts right from his childhood. He was a certain, special man who only wanted good for everybody. I believe he was not of this world, or definitely not of his time. He was a rare man in this world, one we sadly lost for greed. He found a way to make everything free in this world for all. Free energy, therefore free food, clean water, electricity etc. I believe he was likely murdered because of this (in my opinion) and his books were stolen by the special services in his country. He taught energy, frequently & vibration. He was not just a scientist, but so much more.

I came to the same conclusion as the guru on my own. When I wear too much black for a period I start to feel worse. When I wear natural and earthy shades of cotton and linen I feel better.

I see now that’s the reason when they enter the Dhyanalinga temple, everyone is wearing black cloths, because black absorbs, and they want to imbibe the energy of the Dhyanalinga within themselves. On the other hand they wear pure white cloths during cremation. Makes perfect sense! 🙏🏻

As a medical doctor I always wear black at work ... it helps me to empathize and feel my patient’s pain and feelings... I would never want to reflect that energy... it makes me a better doctor

i should recommend wear white. bcz after collecting all this pain anf negativity... you collecting with in urself in india all dr.'s dress code are mostly in white.. including mine. infact some multi hospitals have dress code around light colour

I think you misunderstood the point. The point was not to wear certain clothes on certain days, the point was to wear certain clothes based on energies that you would like to absorb. Which makes more sense than a rather simplistic explanation not to wear black on certain days. Let's say you have a big spiritual event on a Saturday, and your mom told you not to wear black that day, what would you do? Let all energies reflect by wearing white? Or you would rather decide what to wear based on the event itself? I am happy that you are listening to Sadhguru, but please listen more carefully.

I'm curious as to why you used the word "apparently" here, Aheli. After seeing this video, did you then immediately decide to look over everything you had in your clothing closet & in your clothing drawers, after which for the very first time you realized that absolutely every clothing item you had in there was, along with the clothing you were wearing at the time, either white, black, or navy blue ? : - )

It was just a light-hearted comment, that the only colors I like are those three and hence most of my wardrobe consists of those three colors. I had hoped the emoticons would serve the purpose of my casual nature while writing the comment. And if it didn't, well now did I manage to quench your curiosity?!

I am a Black Panther at heart and I love black with all my being, FOR ME it has always been calming, strong, elegant and powerful. If it so happens it's not for any individual then EACH TO HIS/HER OWN. I have never felt any negative energy because of it. Peace and Love.

Sadhguru didn't say black clothes are bad. He said wear black clothes if you are going somewhere that you DO WANT to absorb the energies and wear white when you don't. are you positive that you go unnoticed?, is possinle it makes your energy intimidating to the subconcious, and therefore many simply pass their eyes by you, giving the illusion of going un-noticed. if you balance your black with equal amounts of white, you shall soon learn the ways of chaos, and you will no longer seek to go unnoticed, you will insread come to bend reality to your will and master those around you....but that is not for everybody, i know many who wear all black most of the time too and believe much the same as you, but wonders why they are so easily overwhelmed by people and events around them... far be it from me to push my beliefs upon any, but just for curiositys sake, why not give it a try one day?

Dear all, I think Sadguruji is talking about the capabilities of the colors and it's interaction with our surroundings. It's not about good or bad colours. We are somehow related with this cosmic world beyond our imagination. He is speaking about how the energies can be utilized or what kind of energy we are pulling towards us in terms of colors. For example, a black object is black because it absorbs all light and does not reflect any. On the other hand, white color reflects all. The same way when you are wearing something black, as tendency of the color, the black clothing absorbs energy, for example heat. And this heat is absorbed to the person's body who is wearing it. A certain amount. Now it's upto you about what you need to take in or not. What I am saying is Sadguruji is not saying whether black is bad and white is good. He is saying how these colors respond to energies in the outside world.

@@DESTRAKON you try learn about the colors associated with each planets and each week of the day especially during fire rituals etc. You will know just like in color therapy what each color inspires. Everything has a spectrum , a wavelength and youth and old people are not affected similarly by colors. Same for sound.

I completely understood what he had to say. For myself, wearing black cloths was a way I was able to hide into my cloths, not to wear a noisy color and not to be noticed. In that same space my energy was being trapped and the energy of other people was not being delivered to me. Then, when it came to wearing colorful cloths, that meant peoples eyes would be drawn to me, my actions would be seen a little more, and other people would want to interact with me. Furthermore, when I take my cloths off, I do it in a place of intimacy where I am not afraid of the energy that is surrounding me.

This is what i found out the effects of the colors in our innerselves.. black-is peace for you see nothing yellow is joy like sun in the day.. green is life blue is serenity calm White is clean that will remind you of yourself looking at white will reflect back on you.. brown represent earth you as a man.. red is for beauty and passion.. represents desire! A person that has so much desire inside himself looks at red color like as so very amazing.. thats how you could find out people.. i found this out myself through observing and asking people.. you could try this out yourself and experiment.. i did this because i needed to change myself.. that is why..

I actually only wear black, and I have been doing this since middle school. It came on as sort of an epiphany about who I was...I even wanted my hair to be black, so I dyed it. For me it is a very sacred color. It represents Yin of the Yin-Yang, and I am the Yin in all of my ways. It is a misunderstood color, being associated with satanic worship or being depressed and emo. But for me, wearing black is a way of life. It is how I express myself, and I have learned to become a beacon of light even from within such a dark cocoon. 🖤🤍

A person under the control of negative energies usually perceives good vibrations even from the colour black. All the four bodies namely physical, mental, intellectual and the subtle-ego can be spiritually impaired when an individual is possessed by negative energies. If the distress persists for a long time, the person slowly begins to lose his own identity. The character of the possessing entity comes to the fore and plays a dominant role in exercising its likes and dislikes which are reflected in the person’s behaviour. This means that the person’s consciousness gets completely controlled by the negative energy possessing him. Since the negative energy is Tama-predominant, the person also takes a liking to Tama-predominant objects such as black garments.

This makes sense, Color is important in our everyday lives. What color cheers you up? What color brings you down? If when you bite into a delicious mango 🥭, what cheered you up more? Was it the bright yellow orange color or the delicious sweet taste of it. Color has tremendous effects on us all. So it does make sense when he says Black is connected with negative energy. I know that we all love the color black in some ways. Like a nice black jacket 🧥 or coat, would make anyone look good. But is it your everyday outfit. Or do you wear it because that’s the color you see everyone else wear and you don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb if you wear a different brighter color outfit. Sometimes society dresses us without us being aware of it happening. This video just made me see things in a different way and I’m glad I came across it.

Control over what is happening around me and protecting myself is the least of my concerns. What l wear or do not wear has no cocquence on what l know and feel in my heart. I simple transcend and observe and not absorb. Simple. Why make it complicated with rules and fear base thoughts? Just my perspective anyway....go out and live w/out worry and fear of what you are wearing. Much love to all. 🙂❤🙏

@@Alicia-ju1oh Great point on agreements--or mass beliefs. Some spiritual text call it "root assumptions"- collective agreements made on the spiritual level. So things like gravity, natural laws--these still affect us because we agreed to before birth. So i agree with you to an extent, but l wouldnt write off Sadghuru completely, as l also think hes on to something. For example, wearing leather or tight clothes do have an affect on our field, Just like eating meat, we can bless the meat we eat (and it helps to degree) but our body still works harder when comsuming meat, not to mention dealing with the pain vibration by the sufficated animals . Colors may sound far fetched, but who knows? it could be affecting us on the subtle realms.

Dirt of the earth is black and has an incredibly beautiful energy. Black is the color of space, the expanse. Black is like a clean slate and colors pop against it! I will continue to wear black but I value your perspective!

@@Whoisbaisla Yes, sometimes. Black when wet and grey when dry soils are common here but we also have red and brown soil. I live in Illinois, USA.

From crazee-busy life I forgot how bad black clothes are. One day subconsciously I asked myself why I feel so much energy drained? Days later this video popped up. I listened to what I learned long ago n totally forgot. Immediately boxed up all my black clothes , went goodwill shopping for white and light colored clothing. I felt waay better instantly . I do feel much better I'm not making it easier to attract the negative energies to me. Not Listening to TRUTH and wisdom is preventing everyone from Moving Forward. 🙄

I wear always black when I go to heavy metal concerts. Black absorbs all the good energy from the musik and in the same time protects me as an armor from the high sound and bright light.
