Awesome video❤️ but you don’t need a Bachelor degree, or any degree. A lot of Hr jobs go by experience. I don’t have degree at all and I make 62,000 a year.

Hello, look into volunteer work/intern work. Especially in nonprofits. Also look into getting a HR certification. Good luck!

Insightful video! Just a quick question to clarify for me, is this role the ones that do the actual interviews? Or are they the ones that call new hires and schedule those Interviews and do the research on them for the people that decide if they get the job and interview them?

Really helpful once again! Are HR Generalists considered the same as HR Coordinators, or is HR Generalist more of a position you can move onto after you've gotten some experience as a HR Coordinator?

So glad these videos are helpful! And regarding HR Generalists, they are not the same as a HR Coordinator. I would say that they are the step between a recruiter and a HR Manager. Not every company has a HR Generalist role, but when they do, they often exist to support HR Managers.

Would you say this is the best place to start in HR if you don’t have any experience in HR and have a BA in Psych? I’m really interested in this field but don’t have any direct experience, my experience lies in direct service work in non profits

From my personal experience, I had never done HR work before. I started at a staffing agency as an assistant. After a few months, I interviewed with a different staffing agency for a recruiting coordinator role, and because of my experience as an assistant I got the job! I'm starting in a week 😊
