Good demo for the guitar, I like how you show the sound of the guitar with power chords, not just the same boring blues riffs everyone does (don't get me wrong, I like the blues, but I hate when it's the only thing used on demos) both clean & dirty, the fuzz was pretty cool and that sound at the end was awesome!!

If you’re thinking about buying a Squier Jaguar... don’t hesitate. Do it. After playing guitar for 40 yrs I had no interest in a Jaguar. Then found my way to a Squier contemporary Jaguar last year (with humbuckers) and absolutely love it. Now I’ve bought a 70’s Squier Jaguar and loveinf that too. The Jag is a very versatile guitar. It’s a nice change from the standard strats, teles etc. The Squier build quality is exceptional.

@davidharding200
@davidharding200 Жыл бұрын
@@brandonhamilton370 the HH is excellent and Fender Aust (not sure where you are) had / has 40% off in the Black Friday sale. The only thing I’d say is it’s not a traditional jag. I have both and a Vintera jag. The HH especially at 40% off is an incredible buy. Build quality is out of this world. Versatility on the pickups and switching options is awesome. And the roasted neck is beautiful (but quite chunky, which I’m used to but is not to everyone’s taste)
@brandonhamilton370
@brandonhamilton370 Жыл бұрын
@@davidharding200 hey thanks for the reply and direction. I’m in Toronto Canada and don’t have a sale going on for Black Friday, right now there’s only 20$ off the usual price. Hh going for 649$ and ss going for 629$. Pretty much the same thing. I have a Squier strat sss which was my first guitar and I’m not sure how different the ss jag pickups would be from that. I’m not a fan of a neck that’s too chunky but again that depends on the weight n feel of the body n how balanced it all feels.

Lord Fuzzman will do! I got it and I’ve been jamming on for a few hours. So far I really, really, like it. The pick guard actually looks better than I thought it would and the pickups sound a bit nicer than the Duncan designed...well at least to my ears anyways. I still plan on replacing them with antiquities.

@@LordFuzzman Well, nice ride, it does need a bit of jiggery pokery to get rid of the string buzz, not my fav frets, but it's a nice playing axe for the cost. Interested in a shot of your pedals at the "Various Pedals" moment, especially the Boom, Boom, Boom. Carry on.

Wow This is definitely a great buy. I'm fan of these Guitars, Jazzmasters and Jaguars especially with them block inlays. I own one of each Fender's I mentioned. But with this price I will be ordering one to add to my creative arsenal. Thanks for the great video. Saludos from Los Angeles........

I just got mine and I found that if you run it through a tweed style amp the distortion comes out a little bit cleaner and it helps the sound feel a bit tighter.

Thanks for the video ... I was waiting for it for 2 days ;-) . I already have a CIJ Jaguar with Staytrem and Q_pickups that I love . I used to have a VM surf green Jaguar with Staytrem and AV65 pickups but I sold it cause I thought I didn’t need two Jaguars but now this CV black Jaguar with block inlays is calling me :-p . And it sounds good , it doesn’t seem to squeal . And the new bridge is a nice upgrade . Mmmmmmmmh .

Oh, Fuzzman, my Fuzzman- I see you're a man both with digital callipers and the guitar I'm lusting for. Please could you help a fellow Jagboi out, and measure the neck (fretboard to back of the neck) at like.. the 5th fret? And maybe the 1st and 12th if you're feeling charitable? I'm trying to get a feel for it without, uh, getting a feel for it. Thanks so much, and thanks for such a great video. AND you're an Idles fan, get in!

Wrong the classic vibe replaced vintage modified, the country of manufacture changed too. This is common knowledge.. obviously they had to sell off the old vintage modified models from shops but they were not manufacturing both in production at the same time.

That's a beautiful guitar! I await the arrival of a Chinese counterfeit version that looks similar to yours but it has 2 soap bar pickups instead. Probly P90 wannabes. I dont expect my Chaguar to be as good as yours but if it has a good neck with good reveal, I'm a winner I figure. I'll refinish it if called for. I like the speaky part of your video better than the playing because I'm old and I'm wondering what the heck are you doing, treating a nice guitar that way?? But still, your chopping created sounds that capably demonstrated the potential for making music inherent in that damn fine Squier Jag. I hope you still have it and that it has withstood the test of time and heavy use. Well hi again. Now it's Oct. 1/21. I'll update my previous comments despite my awareness of the redundancy. Maybe I'm just talking to myself? I got that Chinese Chaguar referred to above. It were krap! But I refinished it, I put new pups, lotsa work, it turned out really fine. I'm not exaggerating. But mostly I'm here because today I bo't a minty used 2019 Squier CV 70's Jaguar from local music store. I like it marvelous I would choose it over the Chaguar becsuse I paid a few bucks more for the Squier. Which does have better circuitry and electronics as well. I'm as pleased as can be to have these 2 guitars. Now the world knows it because I said so on your site.

thanks for the demo. ...that's very cool (I'm not fooling) let me say: with efx you could get that sound with any 24" scale guitar ...it's not bad at all, of course... but it seems like it has poor pickups or woods(or both). anyway, I like the offset models that Fender is releasing during the last years and this model is my favourite

Great playing and very cool guitar.Man,- Squier these days,- knocking it out of the park.No longer much need to lust after vintage or expensive Fenders, when , much like Epiphone and Gibson,- you can often make the argument that the less expensive are in many ways& (@)times superior.Crazy, just - crazy-right.

I thank you not only for reasons others have cited, but for not turning this demo into a crackhead hip hop vid. Especially for not having a vocal track of that same, exact dollar-store roach spray-huffing disco-duck chick which 91% of all music demos made since 2000 always have.
