What on earth are junkolosities?
"junkolosities" is a coined term combining "junk journal" and "curiosities," created by Nicole ‪@NatureSpiritJournals‬ and myself, Luise Heinzl.
Take a moment to dig out all those forgotten, quirky items from your drawers that you've saved specifically to use in your junk journal someday!
This year, we're celebrating 20 years of distress, and we invite all of you to celebrate and, most importantly, to distress with us!
In this series, taking place once a month, we'll be experimenting with various distress techniques from the last 20 years on everyday objects.
You too can create unique junkolosities with things you have at home!
In each video, you'll see a completed project, allowing you to join in and participate at any time. Nicole's and my videos always go live simultaneously, providing multiple design possibilities for the same idea.
Of course, there's also a playlist with all the series' videos, so you can easily jump in at any point.

I say this not to discount any other Tim Holtz maker as they all are amazing... For my brain and my aesthetic you are the greatest thing to happen to them. The beginning so hilarious, I made my not hubby come watch it. He laughed too. And the at the end watching you put them in!! Oh that must have been painful taking them out and that explains the loose hairs in the project. which is just glorious. Makes me want to hang my keys. maybe I will dig up some old keys to hang.

😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤hahaha. You are so funny. It was a sweet surprise to see NZ coins, the silver fern and kowhai flowers. You were grammatically correct the first time when you said you wanted to do this one "differently" . Many people are dropping the ly off adjectives these days but to me this sounds like grating to my ears. I use E6000 glue for pen nibs and other things with hollow backs. Works great. Love your key holder.

Luise, I just love what you do, girl! Such a great effect with fantastic results. I would like to recommend possibly getting a Dremel tool set. It would give you some mini drill bits that could drill small holes through that thick tag material with ease. I've used one before for just that purpose (back of a shadowbox was similar to the tag board you had) and it worked very well. I hope you have a Happy Easter! Sue 😊❤
