Carp fishing show Thinking Tackle Online returns with Episode 2. Fisheries scientist Simon Scott is joined by his friend and fellow Team Korda member Mark Bryant, as they head off to Shillinglee Fishery, in Surrey. A real old estate lake that time has seemingly forgotten is the setting for this very carpy episode.
During the session they take an in-depth look at the rigs and tactics that they are using and exactly how to set everything up, so viewers can easily fish in the same way, as tackling a very silty estate lake like this requires some changes. Including Simon's favourite Combi rig tied using Korda components Boom, Supernatural, Kickers and a Kurv hook.
Simon also takes a look at things from a scientific point of view and how the make-up of the lake might affect where the fish will feed, as well as baits and tactics to get around the problems associated with smelly, old silt.
Regardless of whether or not you fish this type of water currently, you will still pick up plenty of useful tips which you can instantly apply to your own fishing next time that you are out on the bank, and which will help you to catch more fish.

I was a syndicate member on this lake for a couple of years, and holds not just beautiful carp but specimen roach Rudd and tench, it's well run by members and a great bailiff who is always available and most importantly on the ball itsf one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever fished be it winter or summer. I would recommend it to any angler. But beware 😁😁😁 it's a hard lake and blanks are more often the case for most.

Whats the rubber bit just above the helisafe on Simons set up? Do they come with the Heli safe? I used to glue a 2 inch bit of tubing into a lead clip rubber and push it down onto the lead to protect the mainline when fishing the naked chod. Like the look of that

Dezzy1ball I was fishing the night and morning before they arrived to fish and film and spoke to them both the morning I packed up, a little annoyed at having to leave but that was my fault at forgetting they were arriving that day.

You won't find me on here, I ain't that good ! Lol , I still at where Fury probably started - on the sites or a piece of ground somewhere in the middle of nowhere away from the gavva's ! I came all the way here for 7mins , rubbish fight it was obvious that Tyson would win and to be fair the fight in the crowd was better than the one in the ring . Lol. I ain't fit enough to get anywhere if I am honest , some of them boys can stand and fight for 20 minutes without a break, cos there's no 2minute rounds at this end. It's shit really but a good earner if you can take a beating or if you win, either way you get paid something even if you lose its £500 most places, just depends on how many people turn up to watch.! When you at Farlows?

mouth was a mess on that fish what a Munter. nice to watch these videos but i watch generally with the hope of learning. however its not really relevant as i don't ever get a private estate lake to myself or even the opportunity to walk around a lake and look for fish as they keep saying. more like "look" for a peg on most day tickets, even the syndicates round by me are shut shop with long waiting lists.

Just another advertisement for Korda & trakker . IMO ! That lake had probably been shut to the public for a month prior to filming and the spots prebaited ! C'MON People who turns up at a day ticket water and nobody else fishing it and then land two fish like that ???!

Dezzy1ball must be a very wealthy owner if he can afford to shut his lake a month in order to create a free online video and in fairness it probably was closed for the filming but what are they supposed to do? Turn up to a full day ticket lake with no pegs left, with the camera crew, sound crew, production and guest and just say oh well we tried.... everyone there is getting paid a wage to do a job that needs doing so we can all watch it for free!

As I said when I left my comment ,- IMO ( in my opinion) . & That's MY opinion. Personally I think that Thinking Tackle has had its day back when Adam Penning,& Ali Hamidi were presenting the show and it was an hour long. Yes I use some of the Korda terminal tackle & can't fault it except for the price ! But as for the online FREE shows, I won't be bothering to watch another when there's hundreds of more realistic shows on you tube from people such as STEVE WHITBY aka THE CARP CATCHER. But as I said it's MY OPINION.

The Consistent Noddy I used capitals to put my point across in my first comment. That's what it is - My Comment on the film & please enlighten me if I am wrong in thinking that you tube is asking for comments ? Sorry if my grammar offended you but some words that I use often and also names come up in capital letters because of the predictive text.
