This was interesting to some extent... but Mr, Krishnavel goes kind of overboard with somewhat of half-baked knowledge, and he doesn't make sense anymore. He seems to credit western as originals all the time and even claiming our epics as plagiarized. One thing has to be said: there was a lot of cultural exchanges back even in early BCs ... we were a melting pot back then. A lot of invaders came to us to loot...The invaders were nomadic/brutal and cunning & advanced all depending on who you're talking about. And, they did not only steal material loots but also stole a lot of fables & tales from our epics. But there is nothing wrong with this... tales & epics spread around like this. Hollywood coped a lot from everywhere ... Japanese (Samurai), European, African tales .. you name it! Martin Scorceses has remade movies, Woody Allen, Tom Hanks ... everywhere people act/remake/get inspired. Stop fussing around. But I agree the credits must be given. Coming back to movies - yes KH has made a lot of plagiarized movies without credits, a lot of us knew this for over a long time.. this is not news. Coming to Balachandar - he directed stories from plays and books as well. It is well known fact that Directors are not Writers. Balachandar's Ethirneechal was inspired from Bengali play... and a few more were adapted from other sources. It is a bit unfortunate that these guys never credited the originals as they should've. But he copied a Vedhalam kadhai? That's a joke. He even makes a ridiculous comment about Ramayanam plagiarized from some western fable. Fables are parables have comparables everywhere.. Now, I can tell this guy is a CopyCat.. he has nothing new to say other than information that's been around for a while in the known circles!!!
