You’ve got to be kidding. My Doctor was always asexual. Some things aren’t forward thinking, some things really need to be left alone. I hope this is fan wank and not the foreshadowing of an actual story. Doctor Who is a kids show about space, time and monsters. It is not, or should not, be a political football. I speak with 40+ years of being a fan of the show and The Doctor, steeped in production knowledge and the lore of the show. This is not what Doctor Who is, was or should be. In my opinion. Please enjoy the show, please have you’re own theories and wishes but stop changing the show fundamentally from what is supposed to be entertainment and above all else escapism.

it's just a video. where do i change the show, how does my video affect it at all? I have the right to do with the show what I want, like all other people who make a video on Yasmin / Doctor (and, by the way, on any other people from this series). just don’t watch these videos if you don’t like them, don’t need to pour out your negative on people trying to do something beyond the canon

The Classic Doctors can be interpreted as asexual, sure. But The (modern) Doctor is definitely not. There’s a reason why Queen Elizabeth the First isn’t called the virgin queen anymore (in canon). He married Marilyn Monroe and River Song and god knows who else. Seriously, what do you think Twelve and River did for a 24 year-long night on Derillium?

There's nothing "political" about have romantic content in fiction, especially in DW these days. The reboot has always had openly queer content, from Jack Harkness to Vastra and her wife to Amelia Pond to Bill to potentially Yasmin Khan. Whether that involves the Doc getting some action or not is still up for debate (I'm neutral about it) but it's still within the realm of DW's writing style. Of course the Doctor will never be able to fall in love and STAY in love because that's not what the Doctor is. S/he will always have to lose loved ones in the end. Doesn't mean s/he can't or shouldn't fall in love or be happy though. I think that's the strongest message when it comes to being a family/children's show. The Doctor becomes happy from all sorts of connections and despite knowing it's never going to last, CONTINUES to seek those connections with humanity out. Does that make sense? There's nothing political about it. It just is.
