It's hard to fathom they were raised to be killed for harvesting their FUR. How arrogant some humans could be to wear a garment made from live animals ‼ They are all sooooo beautiful ❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
@helmaschine18852 ай бұрын
Fur is long lasting and warm. Encourage people to buy vintage pieces, but don't shame people for not wanting to wear flammable and earth destroying polyester garbage.
@erikm8372Ай бұрын
Unless you’re living in the Arctic, Canada, Siberia, Scandinavia, Iceland, etc., and you hunt and utilize the animals yourself, because you REQUIRE skins and furs to SURVIVE-we don’t need new fur products in 2024. Even people living in cold climates, that aren’t isolated, can find used or vintage fur coats, if they don’t have any they’ve purchased themselves… there’s no real need in 2024 for MORE, new fur, just because it’s “warm”? 🤔 Polyester is flammable, okay, area you worried about spontaneous combustion? There is so much polyester and synthetic fiber all around us, ALL the time, and we don’t see fires everywhere…lol. And even if fur is so great, why do fur “farms” have to be so fkn clandestine and “concentration-camp” in appearance? They look so unsanitary, and then we’re supposed to wear that? 🫤 So what if it’s been washed and processed. That’s sick. It’s like a punishment for the innocent animals. And then at the end, they’re tortured and flayed alive. Did you know that part?? It’s not humane. I’m not saying fur doesn’t have its place in cold climates or in history. But I think most hunters and isolated people who wear skins they MADE THEMSELVES to survive likely killed the animal FIRST. Fur farms have had plenty of hidden camera videos go up… foxes, rabbits, minks, etc. are regularly skinned ALIVE and not killed to end their suffering. They’re left, to die, looking like skinless zombie animals. What the hell? Wouldn’t killing it first at least make the process easier for the human doing the task?! Why keep it alive, is the fur “better” that way? That’s what’s barbaric and truly bizarre. Even tribal and rural living people know it’s easier to kill an animal before processing it…. In the country, you want things to be easy because life is so difficult already. I guess in “civilized society”, people like to make things harder on themselves and the objects of their… torture. Cause they’re bored. It’s the same as slaughterhouses. I get that it’s all about making money and they’re trying to streamline the efficiency of it all. But that’s the fkd up part right there. Bottom line, don’t shame or feel ashamed for wearing OTHER people’s vintage fur garments. It’s been done, so reuse it, for sure. Don’t let that go to waste. But unless you’re living in extreme isolation in a cold climate, or just somehow exist in a reality that’s pre-1900 CE, there’s not really any need to be producing NEW fur garments. In such a prison like way. The skinning alive though… that part…

What a sad existence these poor foxes had in such small cages. So happy you're rescuing them.
@erikm8372Ай бұрын
The sad part is that their metal cages are the one NICE thing they have on a fur farm. Now, I’m not against fur wearing, if it’s already been produced and it’s a vintage garment, or someone lives in the snow or in the mountains, great… or a tribal or rural individual hunts an animal themselves and knows how to process it. That’s different… this is like a modern day concentration camp, but the cages are actually the good part for these animals. The real barbarism is when the day comes for harvesting their fur. You’d think it would be easier for the workers to have the animals dead first, right? Nope. They just keep the animals alive and start skinning them. Rabbits, minks, foxes, etc., all kept alive, tortured. Then they look like they’re in “Resident Evil”, like skinless zombies, except they’re not evil… they’re skinned alive and left in their cage, experiencing seizures and shock before finally dying, with their muscles and bones exposed to the air and the elements while in pain. Because the humans didn’t kill them first. Bizarre. So if there’s any silver lining at all, it’s that the cramped, metal cages are nothing compared to what they COULD be experiencing…

You may be the coolest gal on the planet. I hope to be able to make a donation after my proceedure. This is a great place to help. I'm not a big fan of the ASPCA who, like the American Cancer Society, only want to raise money and pay their directors millions. I hope people read this and if they do donate to ASPCA, take that money and give it to your local shelter and a piece of it here. This makes a difference. This is a good person.

Yes, this is wonderful news! It's always so great to see each new group out of the cages and on their way to better lives. To see them run on the ground is even better! I can't help but think though, that we're only about halfway through this project. My concern is that it will become harder and harder to place the remaining foxes as vacancies at other rescues fill up, and that this will slow things down. This underscores the importance of our continuing to donate to support SaveAFox's efforts to provide alternative shelter and keep the process moving along. Thanks to all who have donated, taken foxes in, or provided support in any way. This has been a wonderful achievement and we can all be proud to have been a part of it. But there's still a ways to go until the last fox is out, and it's not over until it's over!

Since you've bought his farm, what are the future plans for it? How much further have you come? God bless you all.
@VenezuelaSustentable2 ай бұрын
Hi ! Great words, thank you so much. However, according to previous videos, they did not buy the furfarmer's farm. They did buy the cages you see and paid the furfarmer the eventual cost he'd received from the 500 pelts... plus he is still caring for the remaining foxes and getting paid for said work. We must keep fundraising for the 330 foxes or so still remaining (this is an approximate count I did from the videos). Let's do it!!

I want to say to Mikayla and the rescuers, Thank you so much for giving me strength. I picked up a malnourished pup from the street today. I’m extremely busy with my work, and I have three cats with me; one recently underwent surgery and needs proper care. On top of everything, my rent does not allow dogs. I was wondering what to do with the pup. But remembering this rescue mission that you and your team are working so hard on, I thought I could help the little one. No matter how tired I get from work, no matter how hard it is to take care of a sick baby, I will do it. I will give them the care and love that they deserve! 🤍

I never realized how beautiful foxes were until I started watching this channel. Such unique personalities. There is zero reason for any of these disgusting fur farms to exist. Women who wear any real animal fur should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. It would be like wearing your own pet dog around your neck. Mikala is a bright shining star in this world.

Congratulations to Save a Fox for getting these innocent little souls out of those hellish conditions, Mikayla and Ethan, you guys are soo amazing, and all the other animals you look after. Hope Dakota is ok still. I have donated to this rescue, and wish I could give you enough to get every Fox to safety. WILD ANIMAL SANCTUARY are literally knocking it out of the ball park. Please support them too, they recently cleared an entire zoo and another animal facility in Puerto Rico, when they were asked by the government there to do so, and relocated hundreds of animals. Fairbault Minnesota sounds like a great place to be, as I love FURBALL FARM CAT SANCTUARY too, just down the road from SAF, and another incredible rescue facility.
