@@AgeITA88 K comes from the Greek word kilo which means a thousand. Also you should really used the word Karat for gold and Carat for gemstones

@@youknoweverything7643 Bars and coins are considered bullion so that dosent count as jewelry. So a kilo bar of gold you have to declare since that would be worth well over 10k. A large Cuban chain that weighs 1 kilo is jewelry so you dont have to declare it. Understand?

@@jewelator At this point in time, financially, I am no where near of owning one, but the truth is, nothing can stop me from dreaming, that one day in the future, I will get to wear it for real. If given the opportunity, it is never my intention to show off to others because I know, there are hundreds of millions of people out around the world are struggling to even make ends meet. Priority will always be given for the things you need in life such as food, shelter, education, healthcare, basic amenities and so forth. As long as the basic needs have been achieved, it should be alright that every once in a while, to reward oneself with nice things in life. If wearing this gold necklace can make me happy, then why not! So, nothing can stop me now. My mind is set. That necklace is mine.
