So this works with the SC/Gamma 0 guard only right? If you did it with the 1/2 guard you would probably also need the 1 guard I’m assuming? Really wanna try this method, I’ve done Nevin the barber’s with the 1.5 & the 1/2 and I always end up using the 1 to clean it up.

Its doable without using 1 guard, as long as you flick out appropriately!

@@RyanAlcaI do it with the Wahl half guard and Jrl half guard, don’t over think it bro the difference in guards is very minimal as long as you’re flicking out with the half guard you’ll be fine just keep practicing and try not touch the 1 guard you’ll eventually get it bro 👍🏻

Interesting technique. Quick question. Your 1/2 guard looks quite bigger than wahl 1/2 guard. Should 1 guard be used instead of 1/2 guard when using wahl guards?

he's using a wahl 1 1/2 guard and a gamma dub 0 guard which cuts a little bit longer than the wahl 1/2 guard.

If you think you can handle it, do it. I’m an instructor at a school in CA and I don’t force students to learn this way, but I always recommend this method to them.
