Jamie just keeps delivering! The charisma, the energy, the humor and driving skills go really great with the camera work, editing and music. Very easy and pleasant to watch! I have a Scirocco 2.0TSI GT Revo Stage 3 runs almost 400BHP, trust me these cars are so fun to drive and put power down very well with some PS4S' :P No idea why they discontinued these, they should of just made them 4WD and matched them with the golfs to a sense so you have the better looking option of car with similar power/tuning!

I love the sound profile on this, it sounds great as it's moving through the gears but it doesn't make a huge sometimes pointless song and dance about it. Jamie we need to get this guy back in once the weather gets better so he can smash the leaderboard

I think instead of the 0-60’s you should do 30-100 or something like that as it will give more of a representation of the speed as there’s less likely to have wheel spin

If you plug the cari in to vag-com you can change the settings on the lsd as they have a electronic diff that can torque vector ... will kill the wheel spin a lot

Man these scirocco R's are so underrated,that 360hp dsg would smoke my a3 8p quattro manual with 414hp because my car weighs 1540 kg with me in it and thats with rear seat removed,aircon removed,lighter supension(coilovers h&r), lighter exhaust and it still weighs so much compared to the scirocco what does that weight 1300+ kg paired with dsg shifting forget it and i don't want to brick my stock trans by hard launching 545nm 😅,he just needs a diff and some ps4's and maybe some arb's and he can run a hybrid turbo,loba lo400 would be perfect,same basic ko4 turbo but some bigger wheels in it so it picks up more power on top while retaining ko4 spool,had that turbo before my current tte420 and it had a nice torgue curve,and 500 nm on a hybrid is about all those stock conrods on that engine can take unless you can shift the power band up by putting a ball bearing turbo that starts to spool at 4k but as a daily that would ruin it's drivability.and the reason i went hybrid instead of big turbo.

I sold my Scirocco 2.0 TSI this summer but I'll get myself a R in 2021 no doubt!!!

i own the same car with DSG and 330 hp. vs bmw m3 e46 i was far ahaed and with e 92 m3 i was nearly 1 car ahead im completely satisfy from its behavior at turns and it puts the power on the road very well too..only if you start pulling from 1/2 gear you have disadvantages but not so much.its very fun to drive in general especially on trips

I always liked the Sirocco but never got one due to the MK7.5 Golf R's being so good looking themselves which i'm a proud owner of, with more power and more practical. Love the looks of the Sirocco though a future classic as always.

The golf r is as common as a fucking belly button.. every one has one .. The scirocco is a golf in a Gucci jacket... super sleek and great fun to drive ... I only own a 2.0tdi scirocco .. mapped and a few bits . One day I’ll be all over the “R” version like beans on toast

Kid seems young without too much mechanical knowledge, so my advice to him would be to focus next on a limited slip diff and a tyre change to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, which are hands down the best wet and dry capable tyre at the moment. Brakes, at this power level there’s no point in a Brembo conversion, in fact they’ll feel less sharp than the standard single piston on the street, but would be essential for track where repeated hammering of the brakes is taking place, or bigger turbo. Personally as it’s FWD, leave the power alone. If you want to go quicker, look at weight saving and it’ll be a real weapon.

My R has 310bhp and that can't put all the power down - the problem is the two-wheel drive not the power. You could put 500bhp through those front wheels and it wouldn't go much faster.

Nah bro my 2016 scirocco r is 280 bhp standard, more than a mk6 golf r and trust me on a roll it shows. Sick vid though big up the scirocco scene the forgotten yet best looking hot hatch, don't be a sheep everyone ones got a golf 😉

Really nice car and shape Shame it's not 4x4 don't understand why they didn't make it 4x4 like golf r or S3 would of sold alot more Scirocco R if they had of done that. Also check out Dunlop DZ03G they are the best tyre around for front wheel or 4x4 track car/street set up. forget toyo's or nankangs they sound good triple r888 etc but Dunlop are by far superior tyre and you will notice the difference in corners and launching if your front wheel drive.
