Climbing up the tower steps will give you an overwhelming sense of dread if you are scared of spiders! This huge abandoned House / Hotel was only recently left to rot when the owner stricken with debt decided to steal all the wedding deposits and do a runner!

I understand what you mean about there is no personal touch in here, but the tower and the architecture make it well worth a visit, even if they have covered a lot of it up when modernising. I love the old door surrounds and the wooden doors etc. Thanks for an awesome video lads. Glad they didn't grab you in here and it's lucky Andy escaped from that fox, that was a close encounter. 😂😂

Also, at 1:20 into it, in the bottom right set of windows that's lit up, it looks like somebody walks from the left to right. At 8.00 when you turn around to Andy a light goes out from within the skylight .I wonder if someone was down stairs .Another great explore guys .👍

Had a look for you trigger, frame by frame. An there's a blueish tint on the window, so I don't think a light actually went out, just that the reflection disappeared when matt changed direction. As you can see the reflection of the room they're in on the window also.

Depends how recently the building has been vacated, an if the owner just upped and left without telling anyone, then the electric company wouldn't be any the wiser, so they'll probably only cut off the power when the bill gets to a ridiculous amount of money as that would then trigger alarm bells.

This venue only ceased trading in April 2021 apparently. Yet I think as soon as covid kicked off here March 2020 (uk) they closed up, that would explain the beer, then as things seemed to be easing with covid, the owner rushed to take bookings and decided to flee with alot of money as he knew he would still be at a substantial loss. The official reason for closure is 'due to ongoing covid regulations and also the withdrawl of brexit, we have decided to cease trading'. Not only that though but imagine how much it will cost to rectify all the damp issues, the general upkeep, sorting out any other issues, it's a logicistical nightmare, as they would need X amount of weddings per month to break even and keep the venue nice smart and well maintained, an with covid/brexit that's not going to happen at all unfortunately.

That tower was absolutely horrible with all those nasty cobwebs and spiders. Too late im already an Arachnophobic I can not stand them. Its my idea of hell being where Matty was omfg. You were like a human brush getting rid of all those nasty webs lol. With them all being there you now know why no one has been up there for a number of years because its tight as a ducks arse ha ha.
