“Card wars” was an officially licensed adventure time game and then was randomly shut down

The interigation time makes sense when you realize that this is a sequel to a different adventure time game where they are acting as detectives

That one DS game where Finn and Jake pursue Ice King after he steals their garbage was one of my favorite games back in the day.

I think it would be really cool if they made a Breath of the Wild/Skyrim style Adventure Time game. Just explore Ooo and do what you want. Also everything makes sense when you learn this game came out 2 months before the finale.

I feel like The Land of Ooo would be the perfect setting for a Skyrim-like open-world RPG.

I 100% the game. The kraken is an optional sidequest, you are supposed to whittle his health down with cannonballs, and when you do it is revealed he was never evil at all. Something to do with a birthday party or something, I don't remember exactly. And the Enchiridion pages are rewards from optional sidequests that unlock new abilities in battle. Also I played the switch version as well and it was just as jank as your experience. I even accidentally reset the whole fire kingdom like you did lmao

“Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know” was such a fun game with my siblings way back and the fact that the ending of it actually ended up being canon way later in the show was insane for my young mind 🤯

It looks like there was a late stage story shuffle, soo very late stage that they couldn't fix the dialogue. Maybe they were supposed to go to the fire kingdom route first, see that fern is the antagonist, then go talk to ice king to learn about the crown (while collecting the pages which didn't get added due to time probably), then save bubblegum, then talk to ice king again about the enchiridion, and then the final showdown happens. Don't know why any exec would force a change like that, no dev would do it ever.

I played this on Xbox, and it was just as buggy. I never finished it, but it looks like I didn't miss much. I seriously had no idea the story was so short 😅 That said, I hope that doesn't stop Finn and Jake from having more appearances in video games. 😊

I played Pirates of the Enchiridion, and I didn’t like it. It went too slow, and I also got bored quickly. Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom, though… it’s AMAZING! Also, by “the game goes really slow” I mean the loading screen takes to long to… well, load. I haven’t played the game in a year.

Fun fact: there is a adventure time game that is technically a collab with a game series called Bloons tower defense. It’s a tower defense where you pop balloons, balloons of metal, and blimps with monkeys that use things like darts, boomerangs, and snipers. The game is a little different to the regular game series but it’s still the normal. Also unlike the normal games you can only place a tower once (for most characters like Finn, Jake, and PB). I would recommend it

I played this game all the way through, and I loved it. Yeah it was pointless, but it was the perfect brainless thing to do in the summer while riding that adventure time nostalgia high and chatting with friends. Used it more like a fidget toy but is still a great memory for me.

I actually played this game back when it came out, and I remember still enjoying the overworld so much more than the actual gameplay. It was just fun to walk around in even a very flooded Oo, and I sometimes feel like booting it back up just to do that. I wish they'd make another, more competent adventure time game in this style with more time for the team to polish it up.

It seems like the story’s script had been cut up and rearranged before sent to be animated

I played Epic Quest on Steam back in 2014, what I remember is that it was actually pretty fun! It's kind of like Toejam & Earl but with RPG elements. You walk around set levels, actively taking out enemies with different abilities and Finn's sword, etc. Also you can find presents scattered around that have different effects like TJ&E, all while looking for Video Game artifacts to get BMO back. I got to the first boss who's the witch that turned Jake's bottom half into a man-baby, and it was stupid difficult so I gave up hahah

I used to play the mobile game “card wars” all the time when I was younger. It was really fun, but we can’t play it anymore.

I actually downloaded this game fairly recently while trying to look for Finn and Jake Investigations Only REAL glitch i had was one of the cutscenes went to fast for the audio and it cut out near the end of some lines or the lips didn't sync up

I was going into this hoping he would talk about the Lego dimensions level and content for adventure time, but then I heard no crossover games. 😞

When I played this, I found a way to EASILY glitch out of the map, by standing on shores or ledges close to the water, and then repeatedly falling into said water to eventually get past. I think the water was unloaded so I could go through while it was loading. It was incredibly glitchy and no frames refreshed, so everyone looked like worms.

There was an old DS Adventure Time game, it was hella fun. I think it was about Jakes Bacon Pancakes or something lol

Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom is so much better, IT NEEDS A REMAKE

while its not the best adventure time game(that goes to explore the dungeon because i dont know) the game is genuinely fun and the turn based combat is surprisingly dept with many combinations and ofc its oozing with adventure time charm, my biggest gripe would have been the presentation as the game seemed janky at times and the quest felt repetitive yet the game is far from the worst imo

Finn and Jakes epic quest gives me huge nostalgia, I remember playing it on a browser and having it not save.

It honestly would have been really cool to see them use this concept during that whole “flame princess” arc in the show Like her getting so mad, the ice kingdom melts and Ooo is just flooded for a few episodes….they travel around using the boat that NEVER GETS USED

I actually found a glitch while playing this game, if you spam the button were you switch the character you're controlling really fast back and fourth towards a wall you can no-clip through the wall. The only way I know why this is works is, when you are not controlling one of characters of course...an AI controls the character and when necessary it teleports were you are at, however when you do this glitch the AI is super confused if you are outside or inside of the game, so the AI will teleport inside whatever platform is inside the walls, then you can just switch to the character and nice you just broke the game lol

Yeah, I had this game and I was only able to play for like 20 minutes and then I had to go to sleep, the next day when I went to play the next day it wouldn’t start, and it hasnt started for the last 4-5 years

I played this before and this is, by far, the most GLITCHIEST game on the switch with crashes, freezes and sometimes laggy gameplay -- I couldn't get FURTHER into the game because I was frozen in a loading screen!!!

As a person who finished the game and got all the trophies this game is pretty epic.

I got the adventure time investigation game. I got it for the wii U. I got the game broken. I get to one section early on in the game where no matter what option you tell to princess bubblegum, it is never correct. I find all the clues and everything, but no matter what option I teell her, it is incorrect.

They should've made it so you can switch parties with other parties where you play as the normal party, but you can also play as a different party like Fern, Lemon Grab, Ice King and Ricardio. And you can play as PB, Peppermint Butler (who fights with Todd/Watson), Tree trunks and Lady Raincorn. Then there's just a group of penguins and one Neptr, then there's the princess party with Flame Princess, Lumpy Space Princess, Breakfast princess and Muscle Princess. Then there's also the main group, but the Fiona and Cake version, and Football. We would also need the Gumball guardian, Mr. Cupcake, Manfried, and Cinnamon Bun. Each party has a different boat to use, like party number 7 just sits on a floating Gumball guardian, party number 2 uses an ice, grass and lemon boat with a heart at the front as the plank you would walk. Number 3 uses Peppermint Butler and Todd/Watson's raft, number 4 has a giant penguin boat, number 5 has a breakfast boat with clouds, muscly arms and a flame as a mast. Then number 6 has the boat Finn and Jake use at the start of the game. There should be skins, like BMO Noire, Detective Jake and Finn, the Bloons skins of them, Finn's sweater and more. Instead of a turn-based system, it's an actual pirate game where you have cannons, cutlasses, ropes and the character's powers and weapons. You can find other players or NPC's boats and use the cannons, use the rope as a grappling hook to get there (Fern has a special ability to do that faster) or you could use the powers and fly there. You would fight like it's Lego Batman. And, when an enemy is dead, their teammates could revive them, you can interrogate them or you can steal their treasure. You could also make them walk the plank, or just finish them off. And there should be like different dimensions: futuristic, wild west, prehistory or medieval except everything's flooded.

Never a more glitchy game experience, but I was very much suckered into playing the entire game on the basis of me loving the franchise so much. 😢 Very satisfying to finally reach the end but overall I’d say that just getting to connect with the characters in a different form was enough of a reward for me.

I wish they made a game connected to multiversus just so we can fight old enemies that at this point of the story basically the end is dead reformed imprisoned or unknown

Something I found fun was the episode when Fern returns has a bunch of references to Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

I think the games pretty fun, played it on my ps4 recently, glitched here and there but I really enjoyed my experience, navigating around ooo on a boat was kind of reminiscent of GOW 2018, my only issue with the game is the combat but it’s very minor

Your issues very much could be the Switch and not the game itself. The switch is pretty notorious for lower frame rates and slower loading times than other systems.

One thing i remember about this game, is there’s an Easter egg where you can visit Prismo

When a game is made by “outright games”. Just don’t play it, they are usually crappy shovelware games like this. Really glitchy, not a lot of creativity and really overpriced.

Wish there was a dark souls like adventure time game, the premise really fits that style of game. they could probs do one with Finn and Huntress Wizard going on a quest to deal with some magical stuff occurring in the forest.

You should play Secret of the Nameless Kingdom it's a fantastic game although quite hard. Challenging and takes a while to progress through but it brings new things into the mix as you go on Edit: Also forgot to mention the amazing soundtrack. The songs in this game are some of my favourite of the games I've played

Ik its been a year. But I just played this game and my best experience was when I collected a lost candy person and when I jumped down to lower ground it started a battle with some guards. Then after the battle the candy person was stuck 15 feet in the air from when I jumped and I had to restart the game to get him and 100% the game.

I've always wanted to enjoy this game but i keep running into so many bugs and glitches i can't ever enjoy it for more than 5 minutes at a time...it's super unfortunate.

I was completely convinced Princess Bubblegum was going to be a party member.

i remember playing this game when it first came out, i played it on playstation 4 so alredy i had some lag spikes but then what made it worse were the amout of glitches. the glitches in this game made it that unplayable that i dropped the game FOR 3 YEARS. didnt finnish it till last year and i felt so empty when i did. it was not at all worth it.

i really hope you cover bloons td aventure time at some point, I've recently gotten in to it and it's surprisingly fun, there's a good amount of f2p gatekeeping but for the most part still a really solid bloons experience

The pages of the enchiridion that finn says you've been finding all over. They are what give your party members there other energy using attacks, like BMO's zap power or marcies claw power( the third one with the werewolf claws and guitar). It was an alright game and I thought I'd let you know where you get them from.

Not only did I forget they made a game for Switch, I forgot I bought and own it. It was so.... Bare bones and minimal. Like I know better than to expect too much of licensed games, but it felt like.... Pre-pre-pre-alpha. Lifeless. It was so lifeless.
