Try singing in a lower register, maybe one octave up from your normal speaking voice, then auto tune it before putting it into AI. It would likely help smooth out any issues in the process and may give a much better result. Most of the singers you picked don't sing in that range most of the time, either.

The power to make better demos is here but I've yet to see an AI-related song that sounded professional

I bought the pro version on the basis of this review. I managed to convert two songs but after that everything has frozen at the end of the conversion and the tracks aren't available hours after submitting them. Hopefully its just a temporary fault but the pro version is supposed to be fast.

I have to say, I love the technology, but Lalals is pretty shady with a lot of illegal (ripped) voices from world known artists. Try Audimee instead, they are geared towards the professional producer/ songwriter and have really high(er) quality A.I. vocals. Basically legal session singers you can put on your track and that you can release without facing copyright problems. BTW: sing in your most comfortable pitch, then pitch shift your vocals up (+ transpose audio) for female vocals. Or produce everything in higher pitch for female artist and pitch it down temporary to sing a melody.
