Same. I just don't have the thumb coordination for using controller. I recently switched to mnk and I will say that aiming with mouse feels significantly easier than on controller. But movement is a bit trickier on mnk than controller. That's my opinion of course. Others (especially the ones who like to complain just to spite controller players) probably have differing opinions.

As a mnk i agree i have a friend on controller he refuses to play with aim assist and beams my other buddies that have aim assist on

@mandatedmarrow7261 i used to play mnk but switched back to console last season and i must say, no aim assist isnt hard to play with, its just controller games have always had aim assist so people unintentionally become accustomed to using it, its not required but it does help for sure

People who want to take it easy relax or have a good time, why would someone willing use two thumbs instead of their full arm. If aim assist was taken there would still be tons of good controller players because some dont rely on it beside casual players like 6 years olds or people who just worked a shift and want to have fun playing a game with tapstrafing sweats

Former xbox player, started MnK 1 month ago, and controller is definitely stupid strong. I even hated the aim assist on console because it lowered the skill gap so much and made movement almost useless. Even on PC it's crazy strong. If you play 1v1s in R5 Reloaded you'll notice that 80% of the top players are on roller even when PC players are neostrafing all over. Pro players literally admit that conteoller is strong. There's not really a debate to be had

R5 Reloaded will change a lot I think going forward. With no more tap strafing or configs on roller, I think a lot will be switching over to MnK. If not, there will just be a big difference in movement now at least in the 1v1 mode@@pootzmagootz

@@RUCKUS577 script configs and steam configs are not too far detached, if at all, regardless of whether its through steam or not they are both movement automation, which has been deemed cheating. He also had superglides, They should do the fight again, but we all know the odds of that are low. He HAD configs because they have been banned and subsequently can no longer use them. If you yourself have used configs in this manner, I hope you can see the copium your response projects. If you haven't, I hope you can come to a point where you can see why the verdict is what it is.

Respawn did not publicly say Steam configs were cheating. They explicitly banned them from pro play, but nothing else. So at the time of this video he wasn't cheating if he was just using steam controller remapping. Also, they should make movement accessible on roller. I can assume you're probably crying about aim assist every day but don't realize taking away movement from roller players is just going to breed more 4-3 linear sentry bots that will roll you in every mode. I switched to mnk when I got a PC, and the scroll wheel might as well be a config with how much it trivializes some movement capabilities especially during gun fights when you're not going to be as efficient with your inputs. Sure there are skill gaps in movement like neo strafing and chaining multiple different movement techs together but beginner to intermediate movement on mnk is basically trivial. You're drawing the line right behind yourself but aren't offering solutions to a problem Respawn hasn't addressed yet. How should they decrease the gap between inputs? If you don't want roller players to have access to insta holster, moving while looting, tap strafing, gyro aiming, etc then you implicitly don't want AA nerfed. Roller doesn't have scroll wheel or anything similar, so tap strafing won't be possible until they offer a new solution. If you care about Apex, you should want something like steam configs minus the cringe aim/neo strafe scripts, access to moving while looting, and then AA can be adjusted. That would basically solve all of the input issues that you people refuse to let go @@freffrey3772

I would also love to see what you deem to be "trivial" beginner and intermediate movement, and in itself would trivial not just be relative to the ability for it to be done through another medium, which at the point of being balanced would not actually be any more trivial than any other? Do configs and automation not "trivialize" the supposedly trivial keyboard and mouse input? You want a closer balance and "fairness", so does EVERYBODY else UNLESS they have something to "lose" through this balance being attained. You can't selectively pick and choose and expect to come to a universal solution, and pinning that one person (in the only comment you have likely ever read from them - for all you know I could actively be working on a dev team somewhere working on a fix for this very problem, I'm not but it could well have been the case) appears to have not "proposed a solution" to a problem when that was not even a part of the conversation to begin with let alone their responsibility to fix, while yourself contributing a "solution" no more specific than an idealized "it should be fair". If you care about apex, you wouldn't be pointing fingers at another and calling them - and in doing so demonstrating your invalidation of - "you people" in regards to an issue that concerns ALL players (i.e. There is no "You People", just the playerbase), you would be trying to constructively consider ideas through an understanding of the reality that the presented problem is grounded within and the actual influence any given individual actually has in regards to "solving" the problem. If it was as straightforward as you pose it how come you haven't fixed it yet?
