This Army Veteran Reunited with His Biological Brothers After 50 Years

Growing up, Col. Eric Jackson and Brian Jackson always knew they had a long-lost brother who had been given up for adoption in Germany. Nearly 50 years later, they finally found him when their long-lost nephew took a DNA test in efforts to learn more about his heritage. Their brother, Maj. General Robert Edmonson II, is also in the military and the three siblings have finally reunited. They join our #VeteransDay episode to discuss their incredible story.

Tamaron Hall is class. I can tell she loves this piece, she is not reading her notes, when she reads her notes, she is not feeling the guest. Thank you Lord for blessing her, she truly has an amazing gift.

See here: when decency runs in the family, it’s in your blood whether you know your blood or not, and this is an example of nature vs nurture. They all received a good dose of both, but the one thing they all share in common is blood…and without knowing each other, they all went on similar paths which tells me their father covered them spiritually whether he was with them or not. And look what his prayers have done! 🙏🏾

Tamron, this was an amazing episode. MG Edmonson is a very special person. He was my Brigade Commander, he promoted me to the last rank that I held, and I was honored that he accept to officiate my Retirement Ceremony from the Army.

Loveddddd this story!!! When I was young my Mom lost touch with my father’s family (Complicated story). We moved and transferred schools. My younger sister would always complain about a girl she didn’t like who looked like me. One day my mother ran into my aunt at the grocery store. We had lived in the next street for 3yrs. The girl my sister would complain about was my cousin.
