What I love about this arrangement is that even with all of them singing different melodies at the same time, YOU CAN HEAR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM INDIVIDUALLY and it doesn't sound..."muddy." A testament to whomever arranged it AND whomever mixed it. And yeah, it's "Kirsten." :)

My favorite pairing of two singers is Avi and Mitch, they were perfect together.

Apparently this was arranged by Avi and Ben Bram (PTX's longtime producer/arranger) (they also collaborated on the arrangement for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy", which you've already seen, a piece Avi brought to the group). Avi was able to use what he'd learned from being a composition and arranging minor in college (he was an opera and classical voice major), skills he's been able to utilize with amazing results in his original solo work

True BabyTonics are in the Avi version of "That's Christmas To Me" with 2 pictures of each member as toddlers. Kevin's arraignment of "O Come All Ye Faithfull" will change your mind about the original song. Kevin performed at Carnegie Hall as a teen before he joined PTX. He also graduated from Yale University in Pre-med and speaks Mandarin fluentl. That was his career before Scott snatched him up. KIRSTIN (all I's) is her Official social media, but Pentaholics call her Kirstie (rhymes with Thirsty).

Those are our babytonix! If you want a song with no words but sung perfectly, you want Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Grammy winner. Always tell ppl don't expect anything when you watch ptx. I say that only because almost never do they whats expected. Lol also try Imagine and Can't Hold Us. Keep with the early works and work your way to the newer stuff so you can literally hear their growing up musically. Not that the early work arent awesome but they have matured so beautifully! My favorite is mitch, always and forever. All the others are great and I love them each, but mitch is the only one with the once in a generation voice. The power of a counter tenor. How Iike to classify each is mitch has the highest voice which I don't think we've heard his full range yet, but he's also the best singer as even the other members have said. They've also said if they are not sure of some note or key, they listen to mitch because he's always on point. Scott however has the most flexibility vocally tho matt today now that he's singing more is coming up fast there, kirsty is the awesome counter point to the men but her work with mitch is so perfect. Kevin is the backbone and he far the most talented musically, meaninn not just vocals or beatboxing but arrangements and instruments. Each so different they come together and it's magic. When these people found each other I think there must have been a star shining overhead bc its truly rare to hear people so perfectly in tune with each other and still genuine LIKE one another. Theyre like family and that shows.

In response to your first comment; Pentaholics have nicknamed the early PTX as "Babytonix." Note that on the base drop you admired by Avi - that Kirstie is right there harmonizing with him at the lower end of her register @2:54.

It's hard to have expectations with ANY PTX song. That is one of the appeals of their songs. Unexpected!!! AND Kevin is the must humble entertainer out there. He also plays piano and sax. He speaks Mandarin Chinese after spending some time in college in China (Kirstin rhymes with burstin').

This is one of their EPIC early songs. Each person is perfect in it! You should also listen to PTX’s LIVE Carol of the Bells from BYUtv’s Christmas Under the Stars special from 2021- it is my favorite version because it’s a fairly recent live version, and you really can’t see Mitch breathe for A VERY LONG TIME. You forgot to add that Kevin is also BRILLIANT (premed grad), and has a heart of gold!! 💛 😊
