The field spell works in many other decks better than gizmek. Ancient gear, deskbot, gimmick puppet, etc

Deep space cruiser is machine monster with 900 ATK and DEF that can summon itself via discard of a machine monster, so that will be a nice tech

I really hope we don't get more cards with effects like Gizmek Naganaki's 2nd. We don't need Face-Down Banish to be another resource with archetypes based around it.

As I heard from a Japanese player, they can't use (search a "Gizmek" card) because it'll overlap crystron with them because the kanji used for their names is also in crystron and many of cards

Just a cool splash idea, malefic gears are 0/0 machines, ones a tuner, one specials the other gear from deck and searches a malefic. This leads to fiber plays or to synch 10 or 12.

The reason none of the cards actually refer to "Gizmek" by name is because in japan all their names are slighly different variations of "Mek[insert animal]", with no binding archtype name. The only thing they have in common is the word "Mek", which would overlap with Meklords for no reason if the Gizmek support listed "Mek" cards

10summons sound like a lot until you realize crane can summon a deskbot that can make needle fiber that can make aurodaron. And mecha phantom beast token are 0/0. So aurodaron alone gives you 5 counters, 7 if you did the crane into deskbot.

Pot of Extravagance, and Orochi make it easy to summon Makami. Necroface is definitely going to be needed in the deck.

Gearspring Spirit has equal attack and defense, and isn't once per turn... some way of recycling it would help you turn on Legend pretty quickly. Yugipedia actually has a list of everything that qualifies; other notable cards that qualify are Deep-Space Explorer IX (who self-summons, but at the cost of a discard), Cyber Dragon Nachster (likewise, with an additional effect that might be hard to hit), World Crown (which... requires running links in a deck with a gimmick that hates on links...) the crystron tuners (who would rather run Starlight Junktion), all of the deskbots (who would probably rather run their own field spell, I think? They'd certainly make a potent engine, though), and the main deck Appliancers (who would *definitely* rather run *their* own field spell, and probably aren't especially splashable).

With yata u have many plays say you have a yata and a desk bot 003 normal deskbot 003 effect of 003 to special deskbot 005 tribute 003 special yata for a easy nova. They work really well with deskbots.

Hold up, Gizmek might be the Cubic support we needed. Duza the Meteor Cubic Vessel is a machine with the same Atk as Def, and it's mill effect isn't once per turn.

I feel like the only person who doesn't want this lol. I was much happier with gizmek being an archetype of monsters all focused on being played individually rather than having a core to play with. I liked that they all do different things and that each one can be a pretty useful tech card in the right deck in the right format. I thought it was cool to have a "side deck archetype" if that makes sense

Well I'm sad Yata is my favorite Gizmek followed by Inari. It really sucks that Inaba doesn't trigger on ss (give it a hopt that'd be fine) it would make Naganaki a starter, in this day and age not like it'd even be that strong :/

Mekk Knights, Desk-Bots, World Legacy and now this. Sure its not as prevalent as ROTA Field Spells but still is a different kind of sh1t.
