You have got to be a horrible troll or trying to make a not at all funny joke.... How do you not know what prestige is? Being about to prestige is a major part of alot of games from idle and clicker games all the way to even FPS games. It is a major part of ALOT of games.

You should pay attention to him at the 6:10 when he talks about how it's taking longer to earn experience and then he talks about prestige and what he gains from starting over.

Each prestige point increases income you gain by 1%. So if you earn 100 prestige points and then "start over" or prestige. Your coin that originally gave you a total of 1 at a time will now give you 100% more. At first it isn't alot but as you prestige multiple times, that base amount of income continues to increase more and more and more. To where instead of your coin earning you 1, you will start over with your coin earning you 100. If a dollar earns you 4 at a time, it would then earn you 400 at al time. Your not losing anything when you prestige "start over" your actually increasing your base income potential, which means your experience grows at a much much faster rate. Which is why he had multiple seperate times where it gave him the option to choose new items multiple times bc he leveled up that fast. So he is not starting over in the way that you think that he is. It's as if you leveled up your player to the point you can't continue the game bc the next level is to hard. You go back to the start, but keep a certain amount of perks, abilities and weapons. Now your at the start but you have perks, abilities and weapons that you didn't have previously, which allows you to level up faster, get new things that help you go even further in the game than you could before. Getting to a point where you can't get past the next level, and doing it again. Each time your keeping more perks, abilities and weapons which allow you more opportunities to do things you could on your first run, but it helps you gain more as your leveling back up so that you can continue to level up further that you could the time before. It's apart of a thousands of game's progression. You should really learn what is going on, pay attention to what's going on so that you can understand it better.

@@Bama_Boy I do pay attention I guess I’m one of those who when making progress don’t undo the progress made, it just doesn’t really make sense tbh (for example you reach level 23 and you need 24, so you undo your progress (sure you get to keep some stuff) but you’re now on level 0 and still have to work your way back up to level 24 redo everything you have already done. And still with all that you are still on the same place you where at the beginning, you could have reached level 24 and be half way to level 25 by the time you reach back to where you started level 23. Because you got more pop up windows and the number by the coin might be going up a tad faster you feel like you did something, and because stuff is happening you think it went faster for you to get back to level 23. But you still had to put in the same work you had already done making no real progress, and in that time that took you could have continued to make progress and leveling up)

@katakimikusan I don't think you understand what happens. Yes, if you're on level 23, and it's taking a while for you to get the EXP needed to be able to level up, yes, you can just wait it out and spend the time waiting.... then get to level 24 and spend even more time waiting.. and waiting... and waiting... until you're finally able to level up to 25. But each level that your progress the amount of time your having to wait gets longer bc not only do you need more EXP to level up than you needed the previous level, but your ability to gain EXP doesn't increase enough to make up the difference. After a couple of level ups, it could take you an hour or more per level, which that time frame gets longer and longer. So, instead of sitting there watching your EXP bar grow EXTREMELY SLOWLY, why not prestige and spend that time doing something? After you prestige a few times, you're making hundreds of percent more than you were making on your first run. After you prestige a very little amount, you will easily pass the spot you would have been if you would have never prestige bc your gaining more BONUS EXP each prestige so you gain EXP faster and faster each prestige. I mean, tbh i would be depressed af if I sat there just waiting for my progress to slowly go up, when I could be enjoying the game, finding new items, learning new synergies, etc. You should time how long it takes you to reach a super high level, then write down how long it took you. Erase your progress so that the next test run doesn't get tainted. Then start a fresh run where you prestige every time you feel like your progression starts to slow down, or prestige every time it takes more than 2mins to level up, then see how long it takes for you to reach level 100. Maybe then you will learn how helpful it really is to prestige when your not progressing as quickly as you believe you should.
