In the old days........not so distant past, when there were wood lanes, I used the color differences in the boards and the knots and spots as targeting. I think everyone did back then. When synthetic came out it was a huge struggle to score for years.

They won’t. That’s what’s ruined bowling…the stars are the balls not the bowlers. It’s all technology now. Tell ya what…all you hot shot bowlers….use a ball from the 70’s and let’s see how good you are . It’s all a joke now.

I know exactly what he's talking about hitting the light boards on any pattern ! Some are dark and I use em and look at em as break point using the right ball it's pocket every time 😆

Mines pin up. Hit with some 500 grit and enjoy. Just used it on viper and averaged 210s with it. Transition got me so wasn’t the ball.

The sea of blue will be real very soon. 😂 If you think of it like water, the purple was deep in the trenches. The blue is the spotlight being shined on the purple from the PBA.

I would say invest in it the purple is good for the start of the night. This is the perfect hole for the late second into the third game. Had it two weeks shot a 699 and a 685.

Down and in stroker here. The NU Blue is quickly becoming my favorite ball. Easy to keep in front. Doesn't snap. Hits like a truck & mixes well on light hits....Just sayin

If TJ could learn to control his speed and use the correct speed for the shot, he'd be extremely dangerous. He threw his ball past the break point a couple of times just trying to throw the ball hard.

I liked to throw the ball 20mph when I was a kid too... because it was fun, and I could. Fast forward 30 years... I only lost about 3mph off my speed. Some think it's still fast... I feel like I am throwing like an old man.

I have this ball and the purple and let me say this ball is absolutely nothing like the purple. It's more of a longer snapier reaction. Nothing like purple. It's all marketing B.S. You will not see this ball on TV, you will see the black 78 because it is actual urethane. Nice marketing gimmick by hammer.

HPL 9000 Thats High Performance Lane Surface! But without the proper medex under the heads you get that hollow ding sound with every shot! Just tune your shot to the proper ding to the pocket! Thuds are duds!
