I think Snipers should have the same profile (2shot little bullet drop), and make the DMRs 3 shots anywhere.

Anipwrs are so weak in this game. In bf1 the Russian 1895 does 80 damage to the body...

@@kruofud Sniper's are already 2 shot kills, but the velocity is extremely bad and so is the fire rate. No reason to use snipers unless you got the 3rd one.

Velocity on the dxr with long barrel is great, but yeah the svk is just the better option

Hey bud, ive found that when ive unlocked a new attachment or anything from leveling up it wont be able to be active till after the next game. Not sure if it is the same for you but worth checking, hope you sort it soon .

There was a semi auto sniper in bfv that was basically the same and that shit was so annoying. Getting two tapped at any distance while I try to aim for the head with my sniper was the Worst feeling

lets be honest, they put minimum resources into last gen version, so it doesn't take too much of their money or time, cause they wanna focus on the new gen... thats not great, but somewhat understandable

Old gen actually has the best gameplay from what I hear since it has 64 players and smaller map. I'm on PC and Conquest can be boring at times lol

STOP saying to nerf broken guns, otherwise I need to get good at the game to get kills! Thats how it sounds to me. There is broken shit in videogames that go against the foundamentals of the game itself and the solution is to nerf. A 2 shot DMR is not BALANCED, especially when the fire rate makes you outdamage all the other gun types.

@@IlNamelessKinglI everyone agrees bullet bloom has to go, the average engagement range on this game is twice many past titles. I rarely get shot by a dmr or snipers because I don’t camp. I want recoil pattens that are learnable not random deviation. I do as you say want to “get good” with the new weapons but you can’t do that if it’s random. I have gotten a good amount of kills FYI but I’m not blind, **** is not consistently registering....I’ve played BF since BC2 check my Battlelog /stat tracker if you like, but you can’t tell me **** about the fundamentals of a Battlefield game .

@@_A_Freak First of all its called Spread, not random bullet deviation, bloom or whatever you idiots call it. Second point, Spread exists to balance different types of weaponry and give attachments a reason to exist. An SMG shouldnt be as accurate as a damn LMG, DMR or Sniper at range. Third point, even if they remove Spread, a 2 shot DMR that deals 90 DAMAGE, FUCKING 90 in close range and like 60 at long range, is still gonna outdamage the rest of the weaponry in any scenario. The only downside is the 6 rounds mag. Btw, in BF4 and 1, you can control Spread, since Spread progressively gets worse the more you shoot, so if you let Spread Reset itself by bursting or by stopping your shooting, your shots will achieve very high accuracy results. What made your shots miss was SUPPRESSION and in the case of BF1, Random Sight Sway, Suppression AND visual recoil. Recoil patterns will not make the gunplay more skillbased, because anyone can learn a pattern. On the other hand knowing how to burst your guns to achieve near 100% accuracy like in BF1, did require skill, because not only you had recoil to counter, but also you needed to know how each gun needed to be bursted. You couldnt burst guns all in the same way like in BF4. BF2042s problem with Spread, mainly in Assault Rifles, isnt Spread, its the fact that for some reason Spread Increase is bugged and your gun gets inaccurate faster than it should, that combined with the trash hit reg means you shoot blanks. All the guns have spread in this game. SMGs are meta only because ARs have bugged Spread, once ARs get their Beta values back, SMGs are gonna be outclassed again. (wich is a problem btw) You are right on the maps being bigger, so why is a 2 shot DMR and a 1 shot sniper in the game then? Cant you tell they are broken and make everything else redundant? You literally have to score 4 to 6+ shots in a row, on people that probably run Armor making your ttk even slower, when they need to score only 1 or 2, no matter the range. The ZH29 and Anti Tank Rifles were not balanced in BFV btw, and they were absolute cancer and OP to go against. The game that didnt have "random spread" (it did lmao) and had random recoil that made your guns behave in uncontrollable ways.

Hitreg is trash. He only cuts the clips were he kills people, no reason to show you the parts were he gets 0 damage out of 6 perfect shots. Btw, every BF player is braindead, if random BF players are giving you an hard time maybe you arent as good as you think.

Because although its in the Engineer line up the SVK isn't really a DMR its a semi auto sniper with 1500m range 🙄 lol

had the same issue in bf 5. respawn, run for 5 minutes towards the action,, die from a sniper or a plane (i dont own bf2042)

Always move cover to cover, hug walls dont run out in the open, try call in a vehicle to get over large open spaces. Play conquest and capture flags to find a good amount of enemies.

You can play breakthrough there is so much action in that game mode you run into enemies left and right. You’ll definitely enjoy it.

Utilise vehicles a lot! Any chance you get try and either spawn on objectives or spawn at base with a vehicle, or on a vehicle like a transport heli

It definitly needs a nerf. Medium to close range should stay the same, needs to be less accurate, more bullet drop and do less damage at long range. This is really poweful at longe range and semi autos shouldn't be this way
