Alcohol is surprisingly ineffective against many species of fungi, if you’ve got mold or something similar hydrogen peroxide or bleach is a more reliable cleaning agent.

Bro you think that's bad,back when I used to build stereos for people I had a guy bring in a top ported speaker box and ask me to find out what crawled in it and died.I shit you not,he didn't tell me he pissed his ex girlfriend off so bad she crawled in the back of his expedition and literally shit in the front left speaker port! It was horrible.I made him order a different box for everything because of how bad it was.No way I was getting that out of the MDF without ruining the box anyways.Id rather deal with a dirty Beats pill than that any day of the week.
