3 жыл бұрынThis bike has 5 wheels - The weirdest bike ever? I ride the crazy street surfer bike with 4 wheels at the front and one at the rear in urban MTB freeride locations like, stair sets, skateparks and a pump track, but how will it perform?
I found this crazy street surfer bike for sale online and rushed over to buy it because just by looking at it I knew it would be fun! The bike has a skateboard style front end with independent suspension and a crazy never seen before braking system the helps you to stop this strange bike from getting out of control. The bike is a mixture of BMX and MTB with its small 20" rear wheel and suspension on the front and rear. The way of riding the bike is different to normal because you actually need to lean it more than steering and that feels pretty strange after riding normal bikes. The bike feels strong and after hitting various different urban MTB freeride spots I knew this bike would be lasting! The cool thing I noticed is that the forks can come off and should fit on any bike which would make for an interesting video in the future! I managed to take this bike around skate parks, down stair sets of doom and even go full speed around a pump track, what else should I do on this bike??

Translation: 'foot pieces' = treads, 'this part not as tall' = risers. The landing gear articulation in slow motion is rather hypnotic. With 4 wheels in the front, even I might be able to fakie.

I'm an old guy and I've always just rode any bike available . The only reason I ride a proper flatland bike today is because of the generosity of fellow riders . There aren't many riders who can do a wheelie anymore so it's always good to see one . You clearly have it mastered to do such a slow wheelie with massive control ❤ I do believe I've never seen a pentacycle in my life !!! It's butt ugly all by itself lol 😆 . You made it look good ! Excellent Work !!

This video was great, I saw these bikes in a lot of shops in Australia as a kid. I always wanted one, but they were super expensive and I also thought it would probably just be a gimmick. Not that long ago I saw one for sale second hand and questioned buying it. If I see another one pop up I think ill have to grab it. This is like the best ad ever for the street surfer just 17 years too late. The engineering and quality of the build is top stuff.

Awesome looking bike very enjoyable to watch, would love to see that get some upgrades. Not sure if it would fit but thought of the cannondale one stanchon front suspension maybe some small off road tires take it out on the trails

You never cease to fail us subs with the awesome original and wacky antics. I don't know why that bike didn't take off? I imagine it was the price for that time. And or buyers market was probably small. At least at first. I think it would have taken off once the public caught wind of it. I love the whole thing except, this one little thing. That torsion suspension. Relax, torsion suspension works well in the right conditions. But it does have it's flaws. In this case I think the designer used hard rubber bushings for the torsion effect. I think the designer should have used eurethane. Either way polymers or bushings aren't the best for producing torsion. Usually metal rod is used. Like the suspension in a VW Bug. But with a couple suspension mods I think that would be straight Bad to the Bone! Can't wait to see this project
