nah, they are a hosted server with plugins. Stuff like bukkit, spigot and paper *specifically* deny this kind of stuff.

what if they destroy the boat, would it bring you there for a raid, or you think you still have the glitch going, jump off a cliff, and die. my reasoning for them finding the boat is that if it teleports you back when you press shift, the compass would lead them to the boat. sorry for the long comment

I used to do this trick to confuse my friends. I'd do this, then call them and tell them to hold a random item in their hand and I would guess it. And of course I'd always get it right bcs I could just run to their house and look.

Reminds me of the 2b2t invincibility machine. It was a massive machine that created so much lag that it desynchronized the players around it. I think it also chunk band that area as well.

I found a bug similar on Bedrock too, but the difference is we cannot place blocks out of reach inside a boat. One cool thing is we can drive the boat without riding on it, and pick up items nearest to the boat.
