As a BP+Welkin Ganyu main with a lot of crate/em/atk% I honestly couldn't be happier :D

Not to mention this weapon will be featured alongside Aqua simulacra which is also a nice bow. So, it’s a win win situation on whatever weapon you get 😉.

I'd say this bow is even better than Amos on Ganyu. Amos goes all in on charged attack damage and for teams where you have to be up close, it doesn't do as well. The First Great Magic is a great stat stick and boosts all of her damage. Way better than Amos for freeze teams and pretty comparable on melt. Good choice! I got it myself.

You got a point there👍. Both bows has pros and cons. Amos bow con is that you need to stay far from enemy to max out its passive while this weapon’s con is that you need to have 3 party members of same elemental type in your party. So one can choose between them according to his/her need 👍.

Well, you can use this bow on Yelan as well if you don’t have a good bow for her already. Now regarding Kujou Sara, Considering, she uses her charged shot oftentimes unless you have her at c2, the weapon has good base attack which is good for her as well, the crit damage substat will also be good for her, as her burst does good amount of damage, and you already got the weapon. Then yes you can use it on her. If you don’t have Ganyu, Tighnari or Lyney then you can also use this bow on Faruzan. or If you ignore this weapon’s charged shot passive, then you can use this bow on almost every DPS character because of the crit damage substat and attack bonus you get from the passive.

In terms of raw damage, this weapon will easily outshine even r5 stringless. But, if your Yelan hits does vape reaction then the result will be very close for r5, for anything lower than r5, this weapon will surely do more damage👍.

@@nguyhiemnhan86 Better damage? then those but if you're strictly saying "better" for yelan and you don't have c1, favonious warbow is probably yelans best weapon choice after aqua and elegy, where elegy is better in c0 and aqua is better in c1(unless you have ton of er on your artifacts). I used it over polar star and skyward harp but i have c1 and aqua now but fav is too good.

Well, you can pull for Lyney on the current banner, he is really good.

First, This bow is more suitable for charged shot user and Yoimiya is normal attack user. Second r5 rust is one of the best weapon you can get for yoimiya, the only weapon better than r5 rust for yoimiya is her signature weapon. Ik this because I have both r5 rust and Thundering Pulse which is her signature weapon. So, don’t pull this weapon for Yoimiya.

As an f2p player, it’s always hard to wish on weapon banner. So, If you’re saving for any near future character and you’re low on wishes then I’d advice to skip the banner but if you don’t have such plans then you can go for this weapon banner 👍.

It’s true that you might not get a featured weapon, and I myself use to avoid weapon banners for the same reason until I got enough 5 star units to make 2 good teams for clearing Abyss. After that I felt, that getting good weapons will be more useful than getting more characters. So, I’d say if you already got enough 5 stars and if you’re not planning on pulling any near future characters then you can have a go on this banner👍. Yes there’s a risk of not getting the featured weapon but the odds of getting a good weapon is high this time. Also, if you don’t get a featured weapon this time then you’ll be guaranteed to get the featured weapon next time you wish on the weapon banner. So, I only wish on weapon banners when getting either of the featured weapon is a win for me😌. I hope you got your answer and I wish you all the best for your pulls👍.

@@critdude love your point of view, I also agreed with the op that weapon banner is so risky to wish. But after watched many guides, for someone who love meta, 5* weapon actually more valuable if you already have dpss. And if you put on 4*, it can makes they comparable to 5*. Examples, xq with mist splitter.

honestly, i find that there are a lot of good ftp bows compared to most other weapons, a new character would be more valuable

@toodled1340 No doubt that there are a lot of good f2p weapons and getting more support characters (not dps) is more valuable than getting weapons, if you already have enough dps units. Instead of getting more dps, getting good weapons will be better. I hope you got my point👍.

Yes, she can use this bow provided you have enough ER. Although, sacrificial bow is quite good on her and if your Tighnari doesn’t have a decent bow, it’ll be more suited to him than Yelan. But, it’ll be good on Yelan too. So you can do as you please👍.

Yes absolutely, because this bow will increase all of Ganyu’s attacks unlike amos bow which will mostly increase Ganyu’s charged shots, and in morgana team Ganyu’s burst damage is quite important. So, this weapon will be better👍.

At maximum Gimmick stack, this bow will do more damage than any other bow with Ganyu. But, if you already have “Amos bow” then you may skip this weapon because you always have to think about your team comps when you have this bow while there is no such condition with “Amos bow”. So, if you’re ok with the team comp limitation then go with this weapon as this will comparatively do more damage.

Well it’ll be more suited for Tighnari, but you can use it on childe as well because in melee stance you’ll use his charged attack quite frequently, and even in his bow stance his charged attack damage is decent 👍.

Can you tell me whom are you using this bow on and what’s your team? And no the passive will work with everyone, it’s not specific to Lyney.

@@critdude I wanted to try 3 pyro with 1 anemo So i went with Hu tao, Klee, Amber with the magic bow and Sayu as healer, i should get the full atk% buff right? but i get nothing my atk is the same as if i don't have the bow, i thought maybe it works only in combat but no still nothing.

@@isakisak9989 Yes, you should get the atk% buff. Well lemme ask you something, how are you testing that you’re getting the attack buff or not? Have you compared it with a similar base attack weapon or by changing the number of pyro units in the party? I am also curious why it’s not working.

@@critdude Nevermind it works i just misunderstood the passive, it only applies to the WIELDER not the entire PARTY, i was looking if my Hu tao got the atk bonus but it does not work like that, only the one with the magic bow got it.

Since, Tighnari’s damage scales off with em, his signature weapon “Hunter’s Path” is best for him👍. But, if you don’t have it then either this bow or Amos bow is a good choice. As for 4 star weapons, Either “Ibis Piercer”,“King’s Squire”, “Hamayumi” or the new BP weapon ”Scion of the Blazing Sun” is a good choice. Also, “Windblume Ode” is a good choice if you have it👍.

There will be decent damage difference between the two for charged shot users, for other bow users there will not be much difference. So, if you’re okay with getting either of the bow then you can wish on the banner otherwise skip it👍. I won’t recommend going for this bow specifically if you already have Skyward Harp.

Well if you’re an amber main and use her as a dps then this bow will be good on her as well. But, keep in mind that you need to have 3 pyro units in the party to max out this weapon passive. I can suggest you one team for her: Amber, Xiangling, Mona, Bennett. Now, if you want you can replace Xiangling with any other pyro user of your choice as well, but keep mona and Bennett if you have them.

1 pyro = 16% atk, kazuha = 40% dmg

Make sense for maxing out Amber’s personal damage, but the extra 16%atk will always be active and Xiangling does a lot of damage off-field. So, both options are good 👍.
