@@yosi1653 Nah poverty is what keeps crime rates up and gap is getting bigger everyday, avoiding certain death overcomes almost any kind of fear of punishment when it comes to normal survival instinct. From mental torment aspect lots of prisons already do "good" job at it.

@@yosi1653I recently saw a documentary about a guy spending 40 years in prison and then got executed. he still didn't regret the double murder and was a bad person. for me that means some people will always be evil no matter the punishment. if you go hard or soft on them only affects your own morality and not them

What's disturbimg is this is based on a real prison that was located on the west coast of Tasmania, inmates often went insane and killed themselves bfore they had a chance to die from starvation or fell victim to the odd bit of cannibalism 😬
