The army, the navy, the airforce are different divisions but still are apart of the military much like how the swat, officers, sheriff, detectives are all still police with different training.

To be clear, SWAT are standard police in most juristictions. They aren't geared up every day for a hostage situation or bank robbery, nor are they sitting at home waiting for those to happen. They're regular "officers" with extra training for the day it's needed. The gear doesn't make the man. They aren't as "entirely different," as you say. It's the equivalent of a cop grabbing a shotty from the trunk, and all of a sudden, they're a "super" cop. Hell, SWAT doesn't even refer to the person, "Special Weapons and Tactics." If anyone knows that they're all equal, its the son of a dead officer.

I didn't cry, but I did get a lump in my throat. I have gained a lot more respect for cops these days. I couldn't imagine risking my life and putting up with all the low lives of society, especially in the cesspool Democratic cities...

I know the feeling bro, I live in St Louis and even if you're dying on the street bleeding out with 10 gunshot wounds the police still not going to show up for an hour let alone the ambulance or anything else to help so it's help yourself or no help at all but not trying to down on the situation with the kid dad and the cops showing up that was pretty cool it would just be cool if they were really like that with every situation they had to deal with versus only the ones that they care about or put Priority to versus the ones that actually need to be taken care of and have purpose and potentially saving once live versus them just trying to show out and stunts for the cameras and what have you still yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah good job 70 officers showing up because the kid's dad died but when a black kids dad get shot in the middle of the street how many cops show up for him???🤔🤔🤔🤔
