A new tune to go into the vast Chuck Carpenter archives: This Boy...THE BEATLES.
Three takes. Not polished. Not ready for primetime to be sure. I was just learning (or, trying to learn) a harmonica part. It didn't go well. I had fun though! Sometimes it's not about the destination but the fun along the way! I hope you have a nice week. ;^)-

I’ve always thought John Lennon’s beautiful, hair-raising solo was just amazing. Typical John, going for broke, totally committed. Nice job, Chuck. No, better than nice. Cool, brave, faithful. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Wow so good! Such a beautiful song and you brought out every emotion I feel when I listen to the Beatles version. Really love your background as well.

Chuck, I love your songs, and in particular, like your style of playing a lot of songs without the pick. Very inspiring to a beginner ( in my mind anyway), guitar player. Also see, you're a veteran. Glad you're home, God's peace to you ,Brother. Bruce Armstrong P.S. Don't know if you've tried any Bob Seger, but I'd bet you could do "We've Got Tonight" pretty darn good. Bruce, I'm humbled that my attempts at music encourages you. I thank you for your kind words. I am not a veteran though. What you see is my way of honoring our three sons and their service. One retired, Cavalry. One soon to retire, Ranger. One passed, another Ranger, while serving. I honor and thank all who serve and have served the United States in the military.
