There's an unfortunate perception that any modding completely invalidates the run. From a randomized, rogue-like perspective.. that's not *in*accurate...but... From the perspective of an entertainer making content to demonstrate extremes, I totally get it. I feel like so long as transparency is paramount, just make your videos and don't sweat it.

Yea, I consider it possible, but its really frustrating. I did it a while ago before dying in the run. What you have to do: -Play as usual and get out of wave 1 -If the FIRST shop has a coupon, then continue -Exception is when you get a crate, this one is very likely to be a coupon (well, more likely than later), then you can roll 1-2 times -Dont lock anything and roll for more coupons, if you find one lock it but buy a weapon you need With this you can get 2 coupons on your first wave, the important part being that you can quickly reset, each time it takes 20-25 seconds to do it, so per hour you can do this 180-150 times. If that sounds stupid to do I'd agree, but some of my runs took several hours until I got them, in a similar fashion like this. Now that you have 2 coupons only buy the minimum amount of weapons to kill all enemies, but roll heavily for coupons. Dont increase luck. Since all becomes cheaper the more coupons you have, the easier it becomes to find them - not easy, just easier, this is a very long process. Doing that is the reason why the 800% Attack Speed run took me 17 days to get, and why I was so frustrated to have a 1000% Attack Speed run on the same day live on stream. The real issue was that I wanted to focus on a perfect start so much that I ignored that the rest of the run is even more important, but here with the Coupons this start is super important since it allows you to buy like crazy. Usually what you aim for are Gentle Aliens and Mice early on, in other words everything that gives more material while ignoring making the weapons powerful - but powerful enough to keep up. This is actually an insane snowball effect since you get more levels, which usually lead to taking harvesting, which gives more material AND experience and then also allows to buy more in the shop. This one here is a run that was a good all-rounder without the right focus: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJh7oa5prqqlfp8.html 181 luck, 118 Harvesting, 127 Elemental Damage, 260 Range (I wanted a meme run with range), 85% Attack Speed and 48% Crit. It was a livestream so the full VOD is available. What I mean by that is that this was just a random run to finish the Mage on Danger 5 and lead to this, if you narrow down what you can get then you increase odds insanely. E.g. for Hunting Trophies, you want high luck. Purple items start appearing wave 4 with a 2% Chance multiplied by luck and cap out at 25%. In theory having 1250% luck at wave 4 would mean you get 1 purple item each shop roll, but thats of course unrealistic. However the target is usually wave 8-9 and you can achieve 100-150 luck without falling behind too hard IF you had a big start, like many coupons or trees or similar. At Wave 8, the chance for purple items is 10%, at 150 Luck that would be 25% capped out, but more realistic luck is rather 100, so 20%. Still means in 5 rolls you should see 4 purple items.

@@DexTag in an SMG build i usually have the problem that my DPS output is hard limited. You can only shoot X bullets in a wave, dealing Y damage total. If the sum of HP of all enemies is bigger than Y - which quickly happens when you have no way to hit an unlimited amount of enemies (explosions) or have very high DMG and attack speed AND pierce/bounce, all while stacking alien and mice, it becomes mathematically impossible to clear all enemies. I think hunting trophy is the only way to snowball heavily in an SMG build. This relies on the trophy and CRIT. I often see myself forced to skip aliens or have transitional aoe weapons. I think we could calculate and theory craft a perfect run (no luck invest, still get perfect items) and see what is theoretically possible.

@@Thodiff Dont forget that aliens and mouses are build up over time and you exponentially benefit from it, since you get more level ups every wave which then leads to you overpowering the enemies. And if you do what I wrote, you start off the game with a -10% price reduction and you aim to max that out asap, like pre wave 5 asap. That means everything is super cheap and allows you to get ahead of the enemies. The game only increases the amount of enemies, not their HP, and that makes it easy to deal with them with a weapon like the SMG that attacks 7 times a second. Early on the SMG is useless, but halfway through the run you deal enough damage to one shot normal enemies, only the tankier ones take longer. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNScpr2VtMy6pGg.html this is one of my worst runs I ever had with -18% damage and only 33 ranged damage at wave 19, but that wave still gave 716 material, killing most of the enemies up until 25 seconds were left, where they started despawning due to amount of enemies alive, but as I said: Thats one of the worst runs I can find. I dont think you can reasonably expect that going for Ranged Damage on level ups will lead to a lack of damage. Technically speaking you dont need to theory craft, as in: I gave myself 5 coupons after 5 waves, right? That means compared to what I wrote above (which is still not perfect) I lost several shops where I would have paid less per purchase, easily making up for the Coupons I got for free. Since Aliens can be obtained from round 1 there is also no time limitation and mouse can be obtained from 4 onwards. If you want you can make up a scenario and I mod it and attempt to show how little you need with 12 SMGs to still kill everything. I'd also be up to start out the game with 10 Gentle Aliens and 5 Mice if you want, but this will get out of hand quickly since you level up like crazy and buy like crazy. The resets I'd do would be to guarantee getting max amount of SMGs

I think the example is a bit of a weird one. I had 10% Lifesteal, 1 mouse and 1 in the shop, meaning I gave myself 3 mice, not 5. With 10% Lifesteal and the SMG taking 0.15 seconds per attack, I attack 6.67 time per SMG and twice as much with the Minigun, meaning 11x6.67+13= almost 87 attacks per second. 87 attacks would lead to 8.7 HP healed (on average) per second, and the cap is 10. That means the moment I get the mouse locked in the shop, I am already above the cap and it wont benefit me anymore. I would understand saying the issue is the amount of enemies, but these runs can be done exactly like this if you reset enough for them.

But this is all within the bounds of the game, I can replicate this run, but it would take me several days to do so. And the same way is how I do most of my runs, some of them just take a day, the longest took 17 days to achieve. What I fully understand is saying that the modded part takes away the fun, but all that was seen here is more than achievable. But it would take very long
