Why doesn’t Blizzard just make this a feature of his tree 🌳. They should make it so you can trap/save one teammate with tree 🌳 which would reduce the trees health but protect the homie and give the normal benefits to the team . Then if you placed tree 🌳 normally not saving/trapping your teammates will get the full heath tree 🌳.

To fix it, they should make the Tree adapt to the mechanics of Mei's ice wall. I dont think ive ever seen anyone get stuck in an ice wall the same way the video showed.

The easiest way to fix this is to literally make it impossible to place the tree on top of a teammate. There, simple. TF2 was doing it in 2007.

Okay but hear me out, what if lifeweaver can plant his tree ON allies, and after a 3 second wind up the tree blooms inside of them, the tree has i dunno normal tree health unnafected by anti-heal that serves as a shield, and anoyone in a radius of the ulted ally get healed like the ult normally does. This is either broken or useless but imagining this conventionally attractive healer guy putting a seed inside of me that grows into a tree that forcefully bursts out of my flesh to “help” me and others sounds extremely painful and body horror and i love it

mccrees ult so bad, he's invincible in a tree and still only gets 1 kill

This was really interesting but went on for ages. Could have gone for seeing cass getting 1 high noon kill for like 3 minutes, not 6 lmao.

I think the reason beams and rez still works is because the "line of sight" is calculated with a raycast from the player (hitscan), which works because there's no collision with the inside of the tree. The reason why pharah's barrage works is because the projectiles spawn quite a bit in front of her so they don't damage her/get caught on her. And the reason projectiles get stuck is because once it gets through the inside of the tree, it "hits" the outside of it, like a wall.

Also there is a way to platform and hide in the branches of tree. Only happened once for me when I accidentally bounced the platform and it landed perfectly on in the middle of tree I put down frame before. Havent been able to repro though.

I did this on accident once, trapped our tank inside the point. I felt so bad, luckily they were a good sport about it
