1:22 it's an annoyingly common bug, had to stop building entirely because of it, resets rotations of scaled objects sometimes for god knows what reason. Don't rotate is the only real solution for now unless you figure out what causes it

bro gd has so many random bugs like this, it sucks, there was one bug that just permanently locked me out of gd for some reason and after like 3 months of trying to solve it i finally found some dumb solution (don't even remember what it was), tbh it was those weird bugs that killed a lot of motivation back then

this bug happened to my on the lvl i'm working on but since it was just big squares randomly scaled and rotated it was easy to remake but once i remade it i made a custom object out of them so when it would break again i'd just use the custom obj but if making the trigger touch trigger fixes it i don't need it anymore lol

There's also an issue I've had where the editor slider at the top acts like the level is hours long so moving it will go straight to the x limit. Not a huge issue but there was one background that got broken. Also annoying to accidentally click the slider and everything goes offscreen. Kept it as a custom object which I got from a backup so I can add it back in if it happens again

I allmoat lost my level because of this too. I had cool pulsing and rotating obhects in one of my upcoming levels. I placed start pos and after that, the rotating pulsing objects turned invinsible and the game got so laggy. I was able to fix it thankfully. And now I can fix it permanently thanks to you.👍

This bug has been happening to me, it made the objects connected to the area scale trigger get scaled insanley high, and lag the hell out of my editor, and the only thing i could do was delete the objects and restart the deco...

This was the most dramatic video ever I was on the edge of my seat the entire time

Yeahhh, same thing happened to me but it was area rotate. I put a start pos and everything turned by 45 degrees, even the triggers cuz I put everything on that group

I thought I was the only one who experienced the area triggers breaking stuffs, my assumption is due to start positions when playtesting in the editor, so what I did is to AVOID playtesting in the editor and playtest outside the editor, that was sad tho rip wulzy's background.

ImMaxx is a goddamn patriot. Also Wulzy, if you ever feel like you're alone in this situation, when I was working on a segment for my web series (I'm an animator/cartoonist) my software crashed out of complete nowhere and a lot of my hard-earned progress got banished to the shadow realm, I was probably even more in shambles than you as animating is much more arduous than building a GD level.
