You made a mistake, the oblivious status effect does not remove your red stain only your terror radius, the only time you lose your red stain is if you are affected by the undetectable status effect

@@sami6911 Yes, but they're largely the same - the exception being one is applied to the Killer while the other is applied specifically to individual survivors. They act the same for the vast majority of cases, so why not have them act completely the same? Remove the asterisk from "Oblivious is like Undectable applied to one survivor*"

I think removing the red stain from the client side might be tricky coding wise knowing DBD's spaghetti code and BHVR probably has higher priorities, and it generally doesn't affect the status effect.@@BaronSterling

The beauty of this is that there's now an actual legitimate case to run just information perks instead of 4 slowdown if you were wanting to play "serious". The Huntress snipes are gunna get gnarly

Last anniversary they gave survivors MFT which was essentially speed hacking. This year they gave killers Weave Attunement which is essentially wall hacking. Balance by imbalance.

If you run darkness revealed on this map you get value from it 90% of the time you open a locker because this is the most locker dense map in the game

When I see the killer has weave attunement I've been picking up items and taking them to the furthest corner of the map. Had a whole pile of like six things, and for my own part I've been using a lot more syringes/styptics to help counter it

I recommend this build on Trapper, but I replaced BBQ with Overwhelming Presence to further punish item usage. Bear Traps can shut down loops, and Weave Attunement renders them easy to find. They cant run. They cant hide. They cant fight back.

This game is becoming more and more "Stomp or get Stomped". Truly good games are few and far between and I don't enjoy dumpstering baby survivors when matchmaking ends up in my favor.

Huntress Main. Offerings, Wooden Fox & Glowing Concoction. Perks 1) Darkness Revealed. 2) Lethal Pursuer. 3) Bitter Murmur. 4) Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage. Main Strat: Wooden Fox makes Huntress Silent (No terror Radius), Comboed with Darkness Revealed..... always reloaded, always have aura reading in any indoor map and always quiet (no cooldown btw #BROKEN) Cross maps are easier to land Vs closer shots. Why? Bc survivors have no idea to dodge when they can't see/hear you. Some perks give OBVIOUS AURA reading. Example, Bitter Murmur. Most good survivors would understand NOT to run out in the open after finishing a gen........ They will not expect Aura reading from unhooking or opening lockers. Easy cross maps. This build is devastating at Ormond. It's completely busted againts "Average" Survivors.

I'm not saying it should, because there is clear counterplay. Literally just pick up the item. Maybe manually drop everything into a corner in some dead zone or something after you've used all of it's charge, or more like, all but 1%, considering you'd be forced to drop the item at 0%. Sure, you'll have to deal with the oblivious status effect, but if you're careful, you should be able to wait out the thirty seconds. Especially if you're in a SWF, and are sticking together, you can just have a friend tell you when the terror radius is getting near. Sure it's strong- But I don't think it's completely broken. But... Do y'all think it should be a hex? Or, at least, reduce the oblivious timer? I'm not even a survivor main- I mainly play killer. But I think this may need some tweaks.

The counterplay to this is them picking up the item and putting it somewhere useless, like edge map. Still crazy strong though, probably needs to be toned down a bit

You mean when Blight breaks a pallet and then immediatly go to syringe animation without hitting animation? I experienced that a couple of times and, idk, its feels more like a feature. When i firstly pulled this off my thoughts was that this trick is frame-perfect and then i tried to lunge sooner but result was the same. But it still looks very awkward. Also, i have no idea what VECNA or TWISTED MASCARADE did to the code so Blight can instantly break pallets like Nemesis.

no. the perk counters distoration, the perk get countered by going in the corner of the map and just putting item. in midwich case, go up 3rd floor stairs and put item. good job, you deleted 2 perks from killer investory for 0 value. Hoarder is also 0 value.

@@dodang_9147 Hoarder currently procs on Vecna Chests so it's still solid info for a good part of the game until they get the items they want.

Distortion only has three tokens. Which makes it really powerful against perks which only activate occasionally. For example, with distortion, even without earning any more tokens by staying near the killer to renew them, you can basically render a Lethal Peruser and two BBQ uses useless against you... But with this? If you keep going near an item, you will keep activating weave attunement, and you will keep losing tokens, and soon you have zero tokens.

The first time I saw this build was the day otz, or Tofu, some well-known creator I can't recall exactly and ever since the one or two games I play a week it's against vecna with this. Dbd is cringe without chaos shuffle no cap

It’s fine, one, it’s hard countered by Object, 2 it’s 2 perks for a little disruption and info. Info by itself only gets you so far. It’s great it doesn’t help nurse, but really makes M1 killers sing, they needed the bump

this really easily counterable drop your item at start of match and see if killer has the perk you see the icon of the perk so it's not silent aura reading the survivors know you have it. if they have the perk move your item to a dead area of the map survivors almost never go, now at get price of the survivors items killer has 2 useless perk slots.
