I filmed this video on December 27, 2021. I just never got around to actually uploading it. I passed on it for a few reasons, mainly because I wasnt sure if I was ready for a second bus at the time.

Unfortunately, this bus is long gone. I filmed this a year ago and never got around to uploading it. Would have been cool, but there were some other things i had to consider before buying this bus. Check the description.

I rode a new Bluebird International that was practically a twin to this one back in the day. 2000 or 2001. It had the standard roof hatch and no lighted signage. Had to climb a steep hill fully loaded. It nearly did the speed limit. The Ward GMC it replaced creeped. It seemed like most any bus I rode with a Ward/AmTran body was slow on hills. I attended school in McDowell and Raleigh counties in West Virginia. McDowell Co busses were stick shift at that time.

Those destination signs absolutely sick, rust forms super easy, that’s why we’ve switched over to the first light kits.

The one true truth to these buses it's something I didn't mention in the last comment in this video is that how I could tell precisely how the windows changed differently on this particular yearly bluebird model bus is precisely and exactly how different the windows are on the inside of the bluebird international bus as well as other versions of those bluebird buses too it's just the windows on the inside is all I can tell they're different when I was a kid I used to ride on bluebirds all the time before I went to school everyday even right up into my teen years when I graduated 8th grade in 2004 which is the exact year for the last of the international bluebird to be made only to be discovered that there's another type of bluebird that's in the works the process of the new the one and only brand new 1st Gen bluebird vision school buses my my look how far bluebird has come to making these buses wow so many years such dedication woo I love it it's like taking a trip back in time for me as well as taking a trip in the future too. 🤔👍😎😁🏆

I've also been on Thomas buses as well but that was just once with the one bus and it was a Thomas Vista 90s built one looks nice to and their windows on the inside or just as different as the bluebirds and so many other brands including Carpenter Ward Wayne amtran Genesis midbus besides the the 1990s Carpenter crown buses as well including the international harvester loadstar buses kind of similar to that of the bluebird from 1971 and that too is a international harvester loadstar bus I even did some research on KZfaq myself about it I think the only lasted until the end of the 90s with those ones then you knew what happened after parting is such sweet sorrow RIP 1971-1999-2004 but there's one thing I would like you to make a video of and that is to show a cold start of a 1990's or 2000's bluebird Freightliner now those are rare and interesting still to this day for me it's a rare sight to behold they just don't make them like they used to anymore nowadays you see only the Thomas built buses with Freightliner technology built all together

I'm afraid to say this but this is not a 2003 bluebird international DT466 it's a 2004 model the last of its kind you know how I can tell the old bluebird models from all the way back maybe in the 1960s-2003 is by simply identifying one simple thing the windows the old ones had the exact same old windows and most of all the small and big bluebird buses from the mini bird micro bird all the way to international and Freightliner but when it came time to make the last of the internationals in 2004 the windows changed and the truth really came out to me it made me realize this was like the early beta demo version of what the start of the bluebird visions were going to be like in 2004 not for the back way long before 2004 even started there's no doubt about it in my mind it's got to be the windows 🤔 I am 100% sure it's the windows survey says Mr J is correct

The Blue Bird body may be a 2004, but the chassis is a 2003. I go by what the VIN says.
