I don't know if those are edible pearls, but it does seem easier to go just to the wedding section at the Fabric Store, and buy a *string* of pearls and just lay em on the area desired (making sure to remove before serving). OTOH I've seen icing pearls applied one-by-one, and they are perfect *and* edible. Do they blow thru the other end of the straw to get these to come out like that? (gonna go search for a KZfaq how it's done!)

Beautiful job! You can see in your facial expression that you love and have such a passion for your creations. I used to LOVE to bake and my favorite part was the decoration. I don’t get the time to do it anymore cos I have a two year old keeping me constantly busy, but when he starts school I think I’ll get my decorating tools out again…❤

I thought the same thing, then watched again. There's TWO platforms on the ring thing, one on the lower cake, and one to rest the upper cake *on*. The flat parts are stabilizing everything. Very beautiful.

Agree, especially for a Wedding Cake. Fondant is really useful to do wacky decor, characters n stuff. Wedding Cake is an indulgence you allow yourself after fitting into your outfit! One day off for NO DIETS!! Fondant would make it less fun! (for most people😊)
