A.d should have had LeBron back in that game there was nothing wrong with him other than sorry af. Kyrie should have never left LeBron he was his yin/yang or his right hand. They would have won a lot of rings together.

The 98' Bulls were run down and old. Jordan was 35. Pippen was 33 with a bad back. Rodman was 37, less productive and was coming off the bench often. Harper was 35 with bad knees. Kerr was 33. etc Jordan had to carry that team hard. Taking on the offensive load when his supporting cast was struggling. Often times scoring more than half the total points. I remember watching game 6 live. I knew if the Bulls lost this game, they would likely lose the series, as game 7 would be in utah, and the old Bulls were clearly fatiguing. The entire game the Bulls were trailing, and I was like "oh sht the Bulls are finally going to lose", right until the very end when Jordan made the quick basket, made the steal and hit the game winner. The score was 87-86 for the Bulls. MJ had 45pts.. literally scored more than half of the Bulls pts himself. After that game, is when I knew Jordan was the greatest player ever. I've watched LeBron from his rookie year until now, and I really don't understand how anyone puts him over Jordan.

With respect again when defending LBJ's last shot with the Nuggets, and the foul that you mentioned. The main point is he's not skilled enough from a scorers perspective to get a quality shot incorporating ball handling, footwork, avoiding defenders vs. just trying to run them over and and not really having a shot plan other hoping the ref calls a foul. Again this is where folks go wrong with the comparisons to MJ and Kobe and others. They knew how to get quality looks in situations like this and they were able to live with the result of the shot vs. expecting to be bailed out by a foul being called. With respect,

@maxwellbrown4837
@maxwellbrown4837 8 ай бұрын
Exactly. The glaring weakness in LeBron's game is he has no midrange skills. Defenses tighten up late in a close game and it is much harder to get to the rim. Jordan would not have had to resort to that hideous running jumpshot that LeBron threw up that hit the side of the backboard, and he would not have had to try to drive into a double team only to get tied up and blocked on a potential game winning shot. I never saw that happen to Jordan. Jordan had countless cross-overs, fades, fakes, etc. that could free him up to get off a good shot from the midrange in clutch situations.

Kerr's shot was setup by Jordan in the timeout prior and run to perfection Paxson's shot was good ball rotation and making the right play Kyrie's shot was him taking over in the clutch and making a big shot in isolation Ray Allen's shot was a broken play where Bosh caught a rebound off a LeBron miss and passed it out for a last ditch attempt (previous to that LeBron bricked a 3, turned it over, made a 3, then missed another 3 leading to the Allen make. Lot's of isolation, dribbling and low IQ play by James in the last minute...go watch) That's the difference man!

Absolutely! I would also add that MJ created the shot for Kerr by driving two defenders onto him and a split second before the pass he fooled a third one which gave Steve a wide open look! And about the '93 finals g6 let's not forget that even though MJ did not take any part in the last play, it was him to score all but Paxson's three bulls points in the fourth! While the whole team was struggling to score he again had to carry them to victory! And one last point of reference: neither Paxson's nor Kerr's shot were bailouts because these two were not elimination games while Allen definitely saved Lebron(with his TO's, missed shots and poor play selections in the last 2 minutes of regular time) and Kyrie in an elimination game or title winning one! And there are just so many Lebron's failures in the clutch(even missing both free throws in the last seconds when your team needs at least one for a win or send the game to OT) and just quitting or at least not bringing any intensity or spark or leadership in the fourth when it matters most! And that's why i would never consider him a clutch player.

It's not that LeBron isn't great, it's more about how he is unfairly compared to real clutch players given the mistakes and disappearances in big moments. So much talk about how he carried his team in 07' except people forget he lost games 3 and 4 by a collective 4 points! That's it. That's a coin flip and what separates the alphas from the betas. How he lost in 2011 is unforgiveable and then to be blown out by the Spurs who you beat the season before you can't use the excuse he was going up against Tim Duncan who he'd already beat except they were now a year older. That 20' championship was weird too, not a normal season and going up against a Heat team who was missing Bam for a few games and playing hurt. I know the excuse is made for LeBron when he lost Kyrie and Love so just throwing that out.

I think it's fair to give Lebron some credit, as you say. Some of the people who dislike him say he's trash, not top ten or top five, etc. I don't go that far. He's one of the best ever, just not THE best. Why do I think he's not the g.o.a.t.? I cannot tell you how many times I've seen him flop(he even did it midair once, search "Lebron midair flop" and you'll see someone's short of it come up. The man FLOPPED, then flexed when the ref blew the whistle like he didn't just pull a fast one. Shameful.), or stand back on defense leaving his team playing 4 on 5, or even LETTING someone run by instead of helping on D and risk picking up a foul. All this gets ignored by mainstream media. It's ridiculous. Jordan would never play weak defense. Kobe wouldn't. Bird wouldn't. Magic wouldn't. Duncan wouldn't. So many all time greats would NEVER play half assed defense like I see Lebron do over and over. You take that into consideration, and also how this dude has Klutch Sports personalities hyping him up and helping to downplay his lazy defense on a daily basis, and you begin to understand why so many speak out against him, why they feel he's damaging the sport overall. It's bugged out man.

I used to agree. But I now tell people I’d take Kobe before Lebron. Just one man’s opinion though. I decided this when Lebron was seen in the sideline with towel over his head and pulling his phone in a huge moment. There’s other examples over the years, but that was what changed my mind and dropped from 2. Just didn’t sit well with me from a competitive standpoint. You’d never see Bird, Kobe, Jordan, Duncan, Iverson, Dirk or many others do that. I get that Lebron has been more times than some of those guys, but none of those guys I mentioned were ever traded. Now to be fair, Lebron’s great moment came against Golden State the year he won. I know Kyrie was huge in the series, but Lebron did but up big games in that ring being down 3-1. These are Just my opinions though

You know what? When Lebron tries to put himself above the greatest players of all time, he is inviting criticism of his game, and the simplest facts are that he does NOT measure up. With every season, he shows more and more how he does not give it all every single time he is on the court. You know he is lazy, makes excuses, and only cares to pad his own stats. If he was the best, nobody could question his game, but he is not, so they do, and rightfully so.

It's worth noting LeBron traveled on his last shot and could've also faced a jump ball call. His slower speed compared to Jordan led to a tougher, double-teamed shot. Jordan would have cooked the on ball defender and forced the second defender to either allow or weakly contest a dunk or tackle him. Considering Jordan's roughly 83% free-throw rate, either option would have not worked out for the D. This isn't criticism, just a comparison of the two plays.

Nice to see you still learning young fella. I noticed you mentioned the shots from Paxon & Kerr vs Allen and Irving. The reason the Paxon & Kerr shots don't affect Jordan's legacy or clutch is simply because those weren't elimination games for the Bulls. If they missed, there would still be a game 7 to get things done. Both shots from Allen and Irving were elimination moments for the Cavs and those are cases where we all expect the Superstar or team leader to step up and put the team on their shoulders. Lebron made some good plays before those shots happened, but in the end, it wasn't Lebron that saved team in the clutch, it was the other two. As for what you should react to next? I keep seeing you pause on "the Last Shot" from Jordan. This time however you didn't say "push off"...but I know you were thinking it. Perhaps watch this video and if you still want to call it a push off, that's up to you. :) The Last Dance: Did Jordan Push Russell? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8mVic-Inc7bd4U.html

@@315giants On top of that. Jordan was counting on the defense to come trap him so his plan was to pass to Kerr all along. That clip of the timeout they have and Jordan whispering 'top of the key' to Kerr and Kerr being ecstatic and yelling 'I'll be ready'. That's an iconic clip in my opinion. 6:58 Trolling at it's finest haha. The 80's Pistons actually did clothesline Jordan in the playoffs btw. Most of the time you can't touch anyone without a foul call these days so that's the difference. Now you can't touch them so if Jordan uses a move there you can't slow him down at all there. It's about making shots more difficult not impossible. If you take Patrick Beverly, Kawhi, or Giannis in their prime on defense with the old rules, see how much better they get with hand checking and less foul calls because it would allow for more defensive freedom. This goes over some people's head. It's not that it was impossible to score then it's that you had more defensive freedom. Now you can't touch anyone on defense. Kobe Bryant even called out the NBA for being too finesse with all the rule changes before he passed away.

At 10:00 it might look more physical because Lebron drove "into" two defenders while Jordan drove because he saw an opening. There is a huge difference. Lebron does that all the time where most of the times should be called an offensive foul as he puts his shoulder down and hits the defender. But the league as it is now, gives the foul to defenders mostly which is why it's so much easier to score.🤮

Again, the difference between the clutch shots from Paxton/Kerr and Lebron's bail outs is that none of the Paxton/Kerr plays were drawn up for Jordan. They were both drawn up for Paxton and Kerr with Jordan acting as the decoy, because everyone expected Jordan to take that last shot. However, the Ray Allen bail out wat after the play was drawn up for Lebron, he missed that shot, Bosh miraculously got the rebound and dished it to Ray Allen who knocked it down. The Kyrie shot wasn't necessarily drawn up for Lebron, but it was clear that Kyrie made the play Lebron couldn't make. in the last 4 minutes Lebron took 5 shots and 2 free throws and missed all 5 shots and only made 1 free throw. Yes, he had that monstrous block on Iggy, but there was still 1:41 to play in the game after that and Kyrie's shot was the shot that iced the chip for Cleveland. Not downplaying the block though, that LBJ block is by far one of the most significant plays in NBA finals history.

I know ppl will say MJ had a game in washington where he scored like 8pts, well have a look at how many pts he dropped in the 2 games after, he scored 51pts and then 45pts as a 39 yr old.... thats why ppl that saw MJ through the 90s find it laughable when ppl say lebron is better...

So if Russel didnt feel like he got fouled , then the contact has to been minimal, no ? .And there are angles where it looks like a pretty clean play.

Quez, you said it right before the end of the video. Even if LeBron had retired after that game, he would still be considered as #2 all-time(to others, I have him nearly that high). No shame in being #2, right? Except to LeBron and his cronies. He WANTS #1, and has been pushing the narrative to put himself there for the last several years. It's why he still plays. He likely won't retire until he thinks EVERYONE thinks he's #1. He's very self-absorbed regarding this thing now. MJ never cared about being the GOAT, really. He wanted to win championships, because that's how you're truly measured. LeBron is trying to do it by just setting his OWN individual stats so high no one else can pass him. But his team won't win another title. It's the same as when Aaron Rodgers said he felt he could win another MVP, but never mentioned anything about his team winning the SuperBowl. It's a selfish mentality. "As long as I look good, that's all that counts" smh. It's why so many of us can't give him the GOAT status he wants, because he's putting his team second to his own ambition.

Can someone please explain how that’s being clutch? The numbers just aren’t adding up!!! Also, the big difference between the Allen/Kyrie and the Kerr/ Paxton shots were that if Allen and Kyrie missed those shots, they would’ve lost the Finals, which LeBron would have 2 less rings. If Kerr and Paxton missed theirs, the Bulls would’ve went on to the next game.

And Jordan did that. LeBron could do whatever he wants but he wasnt the first and nobody cares who was the second person to land on the moon or who landed on the moon the most. Michael Jordan is the goat because he is the reason bums like Shannon Sharpe have a job talking about basketball. MJ made it global like nobody before him. Bro, what it *ALL* comes down to, why Lebron gets *all* the "hate" that he gets, is all because of "That right there is what made me the greatest of all time"🙄 When you prematurely decide to arrogantly and self-absorbedly crown *yourself* , it will bring *every* 👏 *single* 👏 *one* 👏 of your detractors out of the woodwork en masse for the rest of time.🤔🤷

It's really hard to give LBJ credits for a LOT of people, because of how he depicts himself to the outside world, because of all his media cronies overhyping the dude and changing narratives and last but not least: his fanbase.... Holy moly...not saying all of them are bad, but man, the LBJ stans really have invented cherry picking, twisting narrative and making stuff up, purely to put this self proclaiming dude on a pedestal. Unwilling to learn about the past and just gobble up the crap that the media is spewing. Plus, a museum? Holy shizzballs, please this makes me laugh... You on the other hand are willing to learn about the past. But please don't compare that one contested LBJ layup to MJs layup and call the current defense tougher compared to the 90s defense. You've watched numerous vids, including Pistons defense against MJ. 90s defense was definitely more physical, you can't even sneeze in someone's direction without a getting a foul these days. For me personally there are numerous reasons why I stopped giving LBJ credits and I'm not the only one.

Nobody from OH will ever be that good. I wish this shit would stop. People ignore that 4-6 as if they were on Shrooms when he lost that last time and forgot. I’m an 80s baby (the one who saw MIKE AND JANET, but missed Jordan), so this whole “debate” is fkn pointless, but may the Likes & Views stay plentiful. Only comparison there is is their KIDS-his sons have something, unlike Marcus (I thought as a kid, “MJs kids are gonna be great…”. Then, I grew up)💯

Difference is because you may not know. The bulls were in a game 6 and they drew up a play for Paxson to hit the shot. If he missed the bulls go to game 7 no big deal. If kyrie missed the cavs were eliminated big difference. When Steve Kerr hit the shot Michael jordan said I'm going to draw the double and for Kerr to be ready to take that shot. All 5 bulls touched the ball on that play and if Steve Kerr missed the shot they would be going to game 7 no biggie. If Ray Allen misses the shot the miami heat are eliminated so a big difference. And Ray Allen shot lebron bricked 2 threes before Chris bosh grabbed the offensive board for Ray Allen to hit a miracle shot to SAVE miami

Cute how you slowed the clip down when MJ “pushed off” but said nothing when Miller literally shoved MJ out of the way. Also, Kyrie and Ray’s three saved them from ELIMINATION. MJ’s teammates only “saved” him from a game 7. If Kyrie and Ray missed their shots, LeBron literally would have 2 less rings. Context

Ive seen video of Bird shooting twenty last second shots to win or tie games. He hit fifteen of them, seven threes. Until I see that kind of evidence for another player, Birds the greatest clutch ever. Ive also seen him hit two threes to tie a game and then a three to win it in the overtime. Youve probably seen that too. Oh, and then theres that fourth quarter of a seventh game in the playoffs against Atlanta.

You might want to see mins played by the bulls bench before you say that as Kerr was super limited on in game time so yea when Kerr shot he rarely missed but again it's all about how a team mends together when in comes playoff time you can have the best player on 1 team and have a avg team that will beat them if they mend together thats what people need to understand yea 1 person can make a huge difference but there are 5 positions keep up the grind bro your learning as you go and its enjoyable to watch👏

For the young kids out there, imagine playing a video game and you’re going against a boss character… And imagine that boss character doing cheap stuff and was impossible to beat… That was Michael Jordan… The reasons people didn’t try to foul Jordan are because he takes advantage and gets the call… Jordan gets rest at the free throw line and he was a clutch free throw shooter. So the key for most teams in the league play enough defense and hope he miss… Most people would risk sending Lebron to the line by fouling.

Hey bro Bron is a beast but I take him after Kobe because 12 times all defensive selection with 9 first team selections robbed 2 times of the league MVP , player of the decade 2001 to 2010 while collecting 5 rings an 2 finals MVP. Oh and let's not forget the ultra competitive western conference in the years of 50 plus win teams loaded with hall of Famers that Kobe with Shaq and Kobe without Shaq had to beat to get to the finals and then win. SPURS, Duncan, Parker, Manu, BLAZERS, PIPPEN, SABONIS, DAMAN STODERMYER, RASHEED WALLACE, DETLEF SCHRIMP, STEVE SMITH, SACRAMENTO KINGS, DIVAC, WEBBER, BIBBY, Paja Stiockovic and Christie. Phoenix Suns, Nash, Joe Johnson, Grant Hill, Amari Stodermyer, Shawn Marion Raja Bell, the Denver Nuggets, Chauncey Billups, Kenyon Martin and Carmelo Anthony. Not withstanding the then up and coming O.K.C. Thunder, Harden, Durant and Westbrook. While facing the big 3 Celtics 2 times in 08 and 10. While the NBA marketed a Lebron versus Kobe campaign during those playoff years from 2008 to 2010 with the puppet commercials of kobe with his 3 then 4 then 5 rings and lebron with none in Hope's of a championship match up that never happened because lebron never got there but Kobe did 3 straight years.

No one is saying that James is not an incredible player. Michael Jordan is just the best. It isn't even a question. When you watched Jordan play, there was almost never a moment where you could question who was the best player on the floor. As for defense, i hope you watch a video about old school defense compared to today's.

Steph Curry fans consider Curry the GOAT. Kobe fans consider Kobe the GOAT, MJ is the GOAT to MJ fans. Yet those 3 fanbases get along with each other. Yet the moment Lebron's name is brought up, all 3 of those fanbase join forces and slander Lebron. Larry Bird fans put aside their grievances with Jordan and slander Lebron as well.

*Hey Quez the Plug. Around 2016 Lebron went on social media more frequently. He also got Klutch Sports to attack players that are rivals to Lebron around that time.* Even now, you may have noticed the standard sports media setup. Lebron supporters in media (Rich Paul,,Kendrick Perkins) generally attack Jordan, Kobe, Jokic. While Jordan defenders in media generally say Curry/Jordan/Jokic are very good players. Nick Wright follows the same format. As a Lebron supporter he will bash Steph Curry, Jokic, and Jordan. Basically, NBA fans are antagonized over Lebron, so are cultured to root against him.

The sports media puts Jordan/Curry fans against Lebron fans in such a way that the mere mention of one of these player's names is a trigger to the opposing fanbase. Steph Curry fans were upset about Curry's NBA 2K24 rating because its not higher than Lebron's. And Curry fans only direct their complaints to Lebron's rating. Not Kevin Durant, not Luka. Just Lebron

Well, the problem here is a lot of people doesn't see (and I mean, by A LOT, I would assume majority) doesn't see Lebron even being 2nd. For me, he could be Top 10 or 20 or 50 but never 2nd. His stats might look impressive but for me, those are just empty stats he raked by taking advantage of a very weak competition.

hey great reaction, but with respect to the Steve Kerr and John Paxson both shots/plays were designed to happen just as they did. Go back maybe react to The Last Dance, you'll see MJ tell Steve Kerr to be ready cause he knew what the Jazz were going to do because they ran the same defensive scheme in a previous game. And similar with the John Paxson shot with the Suns that play was deigned as well for MJ to bring the ball up and put pressure on the defense knowing that Pax was going to enedup being forgotten about and open. that's not the case with LBJ it's not an apples -to- apples comparison. Ray Allens shot and it was a great shot by a great shooter was a bailout, and Kyrie's shot was great but the issue is he was the one that was able to get that type of shot and shot it with confidence in that situation and not the LBJ. The problem is when he's compared to MJ that's when these little details matter most when people try to compare.
