To fix the gearbox feel issue, it needs a short shifter and cable bushings. The vague off center steering issue is fixed by suspension, bushings and tires. It actually has a very fast steering rack. The Evo needs you to push hard for it to counter the initial 4WD understeer. Evo IX with an exhaust, downpipe, filter and tune can make 400hp at the engine already, 0-100km/h in under 4 seconds.

For the responsiveness nothing for a set of Whiteline bushings and a roll center kit can't fix. However the O2 Dump housing is not a good idea, because it will give you a lot of boost creep. Sooner or later it will kill the engine/ turbo
I feel that evo 9 can buy because no more evo already maybe try the 10 first and the price in my country never drop but I don't know hong kong, for this evo white not nice maybe yellow or gray
