I checked, there were 60-260 participants every time slot, hopefully that will be enough to encourage iracing to bring it back, even if it's in a mixed radical class. I miss racing it so much.

The ending where you just showed all of the chaos throughout the race was absolutely brilliant 😂😂. We should be able to get Jim to call out the names of the corners at the Nordscheifle, I found the sound pack today in the CrewChief raceroom folder, it's been there for years! Just needs volunteers to write up the location of all the corners, which won't take too long at all. We've already fixed that formation side bug, which is actually an iRacing telemetry bug, and hopefully we'll get that into the next release (the only reason you didn't hit it today is because you started from the pits).

Totally agree Dave, the SR8 is miles better to drive than the SR10 and much more fun wish they would bring it back in a more frequent form as not many series you get to use it.

I'm just getting into C class road racing this season. Thought, "OH, I should switch it up. Try something new. The Radical looks fun!". You aren't kidding when you say this car is a HANDFUL, but boy it's satisfying to get right. Great vid Dave. Impressive watching you wrangle this around the ring.

Glad to see you back Dave . I have not always been able to watch as often as I liked but I know I want to like and watch when I can. Great run. I know a Young man who races these in the Radical Series in the US and Canada. Racing with Autism. He has been very competitive and won a few races and is getting people educated on what people on the spectrum can do. He loves the Radical because it is a handful....

People are saying that this car "tries to kill you", no it DOESN'T! It simply feels as a properly balanced race car should feel, that's all. Most of the cars on Iracing just don't feel right, that's why my go to sim is RF2... The SR8 in Iracing is brilliant! Amazing race Dave!!

The SR8 was the whole reason I got on Iracing and then just in time for me to get my C class license, they retired it. Still the most raw and engaging car on the service in my opinion. Keep waiting for them to give us AI racing with it.

Love this car, remember racing you at Road America a year or so ago, until some guy drove across the S/F straight and took you out. Spoiled my race a little as you were slowly catching me and I was looking forwards to the last lap battle. Hoping the participation levels this week convince them to bring it back, i miss it so much, reminded me of karting.

Dave, I agree with you about this car. I used to race the Radical all the time until it was upgraded. I like that iRacing decided to use this season of the RingMeister to bring back some cars that have been sitting on the shelf like the Radical, last week's Solstice and the Pro Mazda is coming up in the next couple of weeks as well.

I raced the SR8 for the first time at the Nord. Did the first 2 races starting from the pits and couldnt avoid another car in the first race. In the 2nd race I was lucky and from 27th to 5th in the 2nd split, would hate to see the bottom splits. The car is a beast and the FFB is the strongest and needed adjustment. Anyway, really waiting for the Pro mazda in about 10 days

@@marklittle8805 I was the same way. The endurance team I'm on wanted me to do the N24 with them but I hated the ring. After a last minute drop out from someone I had to step in. Grinded the ring for like 3 days before the race. Now it's one of my favorite tracks

Also my kind of car! One thing I noticed was that this cars are a lot easier to drive when you have a load cell break pedal, maybe thats why there are more incidents in these races Love Radicals, I wish to see more people on the SR10 series as well! Nice pace, Dave!

Dave what are you using for FF settings in-game and with your wheelbase? Everything looks real smooth! I have a Simagic Alpha running 15nm & 100%FF on the wheelbase and I was able to make it maybe 1 lap of the Nordschleife before my hands were exhausted and I could barely hold the wheel steady. It seems to be jerking around much, much more than yours is, I'd be curious to know your settings! TY

How do you start from the pits in iracing? I always end up in the middle of the starting grid . Get wrecked in turn 1.

don't press the grid button. when the countdown finish, it will change to "missing start". Then press it and you will start from the pits. Also if you already are on the grid and want to get back to the pits you can just press esc and get out.

I tried to race this car but wasnt able to set it up correctly, my downshifts was only working under heavy braking or with clutch, my brain coulnd´t handle the downshifts with pedals and using clutch like H shifter, with pedals I normally break with the clutch pedal, I will try it again

A lot of it is driver fixate on the racing line, not the alternate, but it's tough on such a long track. Going side by side is a huge gamble.

No way i survive all those moves you went for. Im 3k c licens just started a month ago, and people in my lobbiee deffend so much more aggressive and slower than ppl in ur lobby. Like im for sure at least getting 8x unless i start pole. But do like 40 percent the time
