Weird thing is, this is one of the few cards that was even worse in the anime. There was no counter mechanic with Zushin in the anime, you had to keep a level 1 normal monster on the field for 10 turns. Imagine the hoops you have to jump through to accomplish that.

That was just like an anime duel, the opponent of the episode does some convoluted strategy to summon a impractical unbeatable monster, but the protagonist just win with some specific counter to that strategy.
