He did for a while, but he started getting kicks and finally realised this stuff is much better. It's 15 quid a block, but I play plenty of pool at home a few times a week and am still using the same block I bought 3 years ago, and it's still hardly got a dent in it. It also keeps the cloth fresher for a lot longer. All that fine chalk powder getting ground and brushed into the cloth over years ruins it quicker and then you have to fork out hundreds for re-clothing.

If you’re too cheap to try it then consider this. I play on average 15 hours a week and I’ve had the same tip and same chalk for over a year and 1 month (Christmas before last). Both will last another 5 months realistically if I wanted them to but I’m in the mood for a new tip anyway. Sometimes I go a whole week without having to brush my table because it looks like no one has ever played on it. And I only have to clean the cueball maybe once in a 4 hour session of play. Just the value alone of not having to change a tip in 400 something days makes this chalk worth every penny. I’d pay double gladly

@@mez7736 yes because most chalk is gritty like sandpaper especially cheap chalk so over time they wear down the fibers of your tip. There’s a wst interview with Jack and Judd where Jack is talking about how much longer his tip lasts now despite using a super soft tip. It is hard to describe to people how good this chalk actually is. it makes you seem like you're lying when you describe the properties it has. I have a piece that I use daily for over 6 months my pool table is so much cleaner when I brush it you could play multiple shots without chalking if you want to truly amazing stuff.
