They went hard af on Acherons trailer. And even reused it for Acherons slash in the end of 2.1. And yep, easily the best trailer. Also the other Acheron like person is actually robin in an advert and during sparkles myraid celestia, we are shown her living in izumo. Which is where Acheron once lived... a very long time ago. Either its fucking with us... cause it sparkle, or somehow shes actually from izumo, which got swallowed by ix.

Only the person at the start and at the end would be Robin, before Acheron is engulfed in the illusion. The one before she breaks out of it looks like an illusion of her past self, as you can see she has no wings or halo and instead sports a pair of horns. Acheron also has a story (About Self: Habits) that talks about how girls in her "hometown" used to carry makeup kits with them due to the incessant rain that fell at random and washed it away so they would always be ready to reapply it so we're likely seeing a glimpse into her past. The "Maiden" we see in Acheron's Myriad Celestia, also has the exact same makeup so it's probably just another attempt from Sparkle to mess with her by bringing up memories she may not fully carry any longer. It may just as well have been something akin to a ritual preparation for combat, we don't really know for sure. Or it can also just symbolize how easily she brushes off attacks from the "Stellaron Hunters' as easily as she would apply her makeup. As for Sparkle meeting Acheron, there is a dialogue possibility during the 2.0 quest when we meet up with Black Swan to check out to the Dreamscape Reverie and we encounter Acheron seemingly lost again where she states she met a Masked Fool who sent her there in a flash of kaleidoscopic color, though she doesn't know what she could've done to deserve it. It's one of 3 possible answers and doesn't really fit with the outcome here, but I'd like to think this is what actually happened in that version of events. Especially since her dance with Black Swan is another similar possibility she mentions when we meet up with her while following Firefly.

this is a good theory bc the only people who has Japanese elements in their costume is Acheron and Sparkle, in a very Euro-centric setting like Penacony, where their main attire are suits, dresses and couples

I suspect it more likely that Sparkle is just from another Japanese themed planet. The 2.2 quest briefly mentioned an place called Edo Star. Edo is a pretty Japanese sounding word. Izumo has been gone a very long time and Acheron is OLD. Not saying Sparkle isn't old enough to have been from Izumo but she hasn't given any evidence of being so.

Sparkle and Acheron didn't interact because this happened offscreen at Acherons arrival on penacony. Sparkle witnessed this happen and steered well clear cause she wasn't messing with that lmao

Acheron's trailer is easily the best, which says a lot considering how good the other trailers are. It feels like it was inspired by the Bladerunner 2049 and I LOVE it. The Nayhility explosion scene goes HARD

The girl in the big screen is Robin, you can see her little wings, she's just using a wig for the commercial (maybe she dyed her hair or something) and in the fight against Accheron those were some kind of illusion created by Sparkle (you can see the fishes and the mask that represents her.)

Boothill story spoilers!!! Boothills homeworld was blown up by the IPC, killing his family icluding his adopted daughter. Not long after Boothill was turned to a Cyborg voluntairly. And atm Boothill is working on to getting his revenge, that's why hes pissed at the IPC.

I mean, he's right to hate on the IPC, even more right than me hating the IPC. The IPC are a bunch of corporate money-hungry scumbags. I would not feel sad at all if the IPC fell apart permanently. They will do anything for the sake of money, even the morally bad ways. Like that IPC scumbag who tried to weasel his way into "legally" having the IPC claim Aurum Alley, through lies and deceit. I feel nothing for the IPC goons Boothill took out. I'd in fact be happy if the IPC was no more. I'll trust the Stelleron Hunters instead of the IPC any day. They may be criminals, but they aren't the villains. The IPC are. Topaz and Aventurine are the two least corrupt of all the IPC so far we've seen. Possibly because both had to side with the IPC for their own tragic troubles, rather than the money-hungry plague to the universe the rest of the IPC are. I don't care how large Jade's chest is, I'm never pulling her. My hatred for the IPC runs deep

I played the story mode after getting boothill. He nuked Aventurine, destroyed sunday, and he is overall a boss killer, oneshotting almost everyone. 10/10 recommended, and he will be the first character I get the BiS for.

I get the impression that the Masked Fools' role in the story is to move the plot forward in the background (Both Sampo and Sparkle's roles in Belabog and Penecony respectively). I do think we will get some more of Sparkle next patch when the IPC finally make their move but I don't think she is meant to be 'in the limelight'.

I don't know if you'll read this but in boothills character stories they go into detail as to why he's hunting down the IPC the TLDR is that Oswaldo basically nearly destroyed his planet and killed his family and what is possible his baby daughter, so in an act of revenge he went to a different planet and held a doctor at gun point to give him his robotic body. (Fun fact Oswaldo was an ex nameless and he was the same one who invaded adventurines planet.)

I don’t think Sparkle had to have met the stelleron hunters since their bounty posters are everywhere, but who knows? Maybe? I did always suspect that Sampo was subcontracted by Elio to oversee the trailblazer’s trip to Jarillo. Not a full member, but someone they have contact with and can tip off. Their meeting in the snow plains was really coincidental and it was the one arc that the stelleron hunters were absent from despite there being a stelleron disaster there.

That woman in the ad that looked like Acheron was actually Robin but due to the illusion that Sparkle put Acheron in, it changed to look like Acheron. That’s why even in the illusion, Robin’s ear wings are still there.

I hope we get more Boothill story in next patch, I've read his story on his profile in game and.. yeah...... I love how they're doing a full Robin album lol. Also that was my favorite Acheron trailer, but with as much talking as she did this last patch I'm still not sure I get her character... maybe because I never played HI3, the meanings are a bit lost on me.

It's hilarious that Star Rail doesn't have just one but two Space Japans: both Izumo, Acheron's world, and wherever Sparkle is from. And if wherever Sparkle is from is not Edo Star, that's at least three Space Japans! Space Japans are rapidly gaining ground on the 6 Xianzhou ships which are basically Space Chinas in space as the original Space China is where the fleet originated from. Space Asia is eating well in Space Rail... I mean Star Rail.

So the thing about Robin's trailer is it hints a thing we had a feeling about her and Sunday is the fact that Sunday wants to keep his sister in the cage safe and free from harm. Also the reason for that was in the recent update, it's implied that Robin was injured during a tour on a war ridden planet, taking a stray bullet to her neck, hence why she needs the Harmony to sing normally

She doesn't need harmony to sing normally, she already recover, the reason why she can't speak in penacony is all because of the order supressing her, making her use Harmony to talk and sing, she said so herself when Sunday revealed it

So, about pulling for Boothill. I had to go to pity to get him, and the first pop-up on my 10 pull was Gepard. So, as a normal gatcha 50/50 looser, I was hurt and skipped the rest only for Boothill to suddenly step off the train. Leave it to this cowboy to make my first double 5 star pull be MASSIVELY stressful, lol. Anyways, thankful he came home, but damn. Good luck with all your pulls people.
