it's a nice gimmick. 100 yen per play, but 12 yen per stick of umaibo in the shops. you'll need 9 umaibos per catch to break even 🤣

My favorite umaibo is the yakatori one. The teriyaki burger and tonkatsu are very close second and third though. I didn't like any of fishy tasting umaibos.

They sell these in the US in Asian Grocery stores. I get the corn flavor all the time. Look for a bag of corn balls by Regent that say Sweet Corn. They're amazing. Even better than these.

Corn potage tastes just like scalloped corn to me 🌽. My son was in the navy in Japan. He would send big bags of it. Japan is #1 in snacks. Corn potage should be sold in the states. Its delicious & healthier than our snacks
