@Ben well they literally have the richest owners in the world by an absolute landslide. They were a champions league team in the 90s, competing for the title on more than one season too. Their stadium is much bigger. Their kit is far more iconic and recognised globally and i definitely wouldn't say villa have a bigger global fanbase either. Newcastle has a huge global fanbase and I'd argue a bigger better support base in England too. Their fan flag/tifo displays are absolutely leagues ahead of any other premier league club. It genuinley is a religion up there. Its so tribal its unreal, its just a totally different sceptical compared to what I've seen for years in Birmingham personally... It's just uncompareable. Newcastle fans on average have to travel almost twice the distance villa fans do in a season and sell out everywhere. In the championship they sold out 52 thousand seats while villa had to close off their upper stand. I get villa have more trophies but I just think their comes a point where trophies won 40/50 years ago or during a completely different era slightly loose their relevance. I'd say for the last 20/30 years newcastle have been more relevant.

that’s one thing having more trophies than newcastle but we have double, and a bigger fanbase, higher overall league position, more seasons in the top flight, more recent silverware

You pulled that fanbase comment out of your arse you have nothing to back it up. You have a smaller stadium and we have an expanding international fanbase. It doesn't really matter as with our new owners the gap will continue to grow and you will still be bragging about things that happened last century
