The "Lillipup" is an awesome idea, with a lot of versatility (definitely with Jason's matching side insert for non-pet use). But, I don't think it can out-out replace the "Lilliput". Are they factoring in a water-resistant cushion cover to go over that doggie bed cushion? The cover would also have a thickness. A cushion cover would make cleaning easier because you could just take it off the cushion and wash it from time to time.

I have a sweet full sized Yorkie named Penny, she has three working legs and one that was broken to disuse before we got her. She was a puppy mill mama when she was young and we adopted her when she was 6 or 7, she’ll be around 12 or 13 this year. Still trucking along and has taken to just sleeping in her dog bed, instead of up on a human bed.

Since you all had a visceral reaction to the Lilli-Pup, there are some things you should consider. - The rest of the line should match it. Yes, that includes the top bevel. - You need a way to lock the top down so that a dog can't push it open. A simple slide bolt, or rotating latch that a human can operate with 1 hand from the side they'll lift the top from. - People should be able to switch the direction the top lifts. As Doug said at 11:51 "Pupper's look'n up at you"... but from where he's standing, pupper's can't see him. He's on the desk side, and the opening is on the other side. If you can switch your fridge door, you should be able to switch the top of this too, so you can have pupper facing you, snuggled up to your feet that are resting on the padded interior of the bed. - The bars should pull out from the long sides, not the short ends. The side that the dog will enter the bed from will always be open. That's the side that the bars should slide out from. Requiring space the length of the whole table to slide bars out the end isn't helpful for many. There should also be a simple latch or peg to secure the bars in place under the table/bed, so vibrations can't make them shuffle out, and they can easily be secured for moving.

Considering the cat-“coffin” and the mention of different insert possibilities for the lilipup, you ‘could’ just make an insert to make it look solid like the other sides but with a small hole inside it for the feline to crawl into it… a cat-on for the lilipup

These beds are looking great! I totally agree with other comments that the outer cover of the bed needs to come off so we can wash it easily. My pup Maple is a golden retriever (large 62lbs) working to become a therapy dog. We're excited to see more updates!

Love these dog beds! One thought from my wife who works with dogs, the crate dimensions for the table seem too small. The dog needs to be able to stand up and turn around for comfort and safety. So the height for the under-table portion that you block off to make a crate should be increased.

I didn’t think it was possible to love Doug more then he shared his opinion on cats.

I bought a small bed for my dog. No frame, just the cushion. It was thinner than the cushion in your beds, but filled with some sort of synthetic fleece or fluff. My dog used it for a while but then started tearing into it, removing about half the fluff. Once she got a consistancy she liked, which allowed her to feel the firm floor through the cushion, she never tore into it again. All this to say, my dog prefered a firmer bed to a soft one. The foam you used in the video is definitely firmer than the bed I bought, but it is something to think about.

Panel options would be awesome with the coffee table! Honestly my cats Gary and Tali would hang out underneath as a safe space. Or my kid. Either works.

I have two cats who pretend to be dogs that would love that medium or large. They always sleep on the dog beds as it is anyway. My cats would absolutely love that coffee table too.

I'm surprised we haven't seen multiple dogs so far testing these especially for size. My dog Kevin is a Saint Bernard, weighs 180lbs roughly and would need to put two large beds together and they might fit him.

My medium-sized dog's name is Blue. I believe that the Lilliput would be phased out provided that the Lillipup is priced closely to it. The raised top and additional gate feature make it a win. You may want to add a locking mechanism to keep the dog inside or they may push the lid open and hop out.

The coffee table is incredible and "Lillipup" is an incredible name. My sister has a rescue mutt named maverick that would enjoy the large one I think.

Getting the cushion in and out is important - you're going to to need to wash it.

11:00 to reiterate what a few others have said about the Lilipup, the bars should slide out of the front. The sides are far more likely to have things in the way compared to the side the dog comes in from, so having the door slide out of the long sides would be much better usability Also, for the contest, I think the medium dog bed would be fantastic for my sisters dog Saffy.

The coffee table is astonishingly good. My pupper friend is named April. She is a small dog and is always looking for a new location to survey her domain.

These are cool! One thing to take into account, though, is the thickness of the fabric cover for the foam. Most of the stuff that's thick/strong enough to use for a good dog bed is going to add probably 1/4" to 1/2" of thickness overall, which will affect your gap. One other thing: The topper on the coffee table needs to be lockable somehow. 1) So a crated dog can't escape, and 2) so the dog can't smack into the top and knock everything sitting on it around.

The Lilipup is looking amazing! Would you offer that in the scaled up big Sam option as well? You could even sell a divider that splits the space for either storage and dog bed or for two pets that you want to kennel separately? What’s the estimated price point on it? Keep up the good work!

I’ve been watching this series with my mum, who has been asking for updates on the “dog bed company” wyrmwood rebrand confirmed. My dog is Atlas, an 11 year old Cavoodle who would likely fit the small, but would prefer the medium due to his love of lounging and also cuddling with his friends, as you can see in my profile pic.

Definitely love the Lilipup, the raised table top is very nice. Although my dog, Beau, is a large boi, he loves to fit in tiny caves. So he'd love the large bed, and simultaneously love the tiny cave.

My doggo is a crossbreed between an Maltese and an English Bulldog. He'd love to chill out in the medium bed for sure!

My notes: have a summer and a winter side on the cover but also make it removable and machine washable. the medium gap seems to have enough space so you can add your cover and we can also and blankets if necessary (like if the dog is sick, maybe old and incontinent...) As for the dog table, love the gate, but it you put the gate sliding out the longer side, the clearance needed would be smaller . I have both a cat and a dog and I could tell you some stories about where they like to sleep... if you don't mind shipping to Portugal, my cat is Yoshi, my dog is Kaizen, and he's a big doggo, about 35kg.

My cat sleeps in a bed ☺️ I recently got her a new one with an electric heater blanket and she loves it. Every day she’s resting in it. Got her an extension that has a level that goes up with a bed and when it’s sunny she will curl up or lay across it. If I get a new bed she acclimates to it well ☺️

I made an oak coffee table myself, with removable top and tons of storage inside for pillows, blankets and all the stuff the wife insist on keeping near the sofa.
