Oh they brought back the old scourge of skyclaves combo. I used to play that on arena. Fun times

15:25 Chandra doubles the spell, true. The problem is that it doesn’t double the damage like bloodletter does. So if you drop the rush of the dread and, say, opponent is at 19 life, and you have Chandra down, opponent will lose 10 and then 5, still being alive with 4 life, because the first spell would cut down half of his life rounded up (19>9), and the copy will do the same, so… from 9 to 4. With bloodletter instead you double the damage so, opponent will always go to either 0 (if their life is an even number) or -1 (if it’s an odd number). Plus Chandra is turn 6 and you still need to play the spell, so… turn 7.

I think running dimir is definitely the only way to run this combo like ash did.

This deck looks like a lot of fun, and while I've seen mono black run rampant with this, I'm digging thd Dimir build, too. If there's any deck I'd like to see you experiment with, if you haven't yet, is Ancient Cornucopia. I've seen Eliott_Dragon and Swayze use it, and it looks like a blast to play! Regarding Elliot dragon giving you all their lands: I don’t have any explanation in this context, but the deck can play profts and dump all their lands to set up a one shot kill with a flyer. So there are situations where it makes sense, but this wasn’t one of them 😅

I bet the new Visage Bandit would go pretty good in this. you can make a permanent copy of the bloodletter.

Does bloodletter double go on the stack? Was it possible for them to take take the half life, let bloodletter see it and put it's trigger on the stack then gain life at instant speed?

It's a replacement effect, Bloodletter doesn't do any damage. So there's only one instance of damage, it's just twice whatever the damage dealt was

Hi, please make desert ramp doppelgang deck :) Ramp deserts to ping for 1,then copy as many as you can with doppelgang for the kill. If anyone can do it it's you :D

"No matter the board state you can just win" That is not good for healthy magic. The more busted, broken, nonsensical, ridiculous mtg gets the more people are going to stop playing and the overall community vibes will be toxic. Mtg should be an interactive battle between 2 opponents back and forth. Not just "i did my thing i win nothing you can do about it." Or "i lost nothing i can do about it." How many games on arena best of 1 do people just insta concede as soon as they see temur worldsoul?

Temur Rage isn't that difficult to beat. A lot more players are running more against it in the forms of Kutzil's Flanker, Stone Brain, The End, and Unlicensed Hearse, just to name a few. EDIT: Alongside Unlicensed Hearse, Rest in Peace got reprinted, so there's that.
