SJW and Liberals and Right Wing war mongers are product of Western Civilization. This is the product of your society. Truth and Justice, this doesnt exist. ITs all about living Free in the land of stolen resources, live in excess and oppress the earth with the already useless Dollar being its world currency. ISlamic Fundamentalist are all paid mercenaries to create a reason to spend on war and invasions. We have seen this in Shimabara Japan where the Western ships used rebels to weaken the defense of Empires before they invade. We have seen this in Africa Ethiopian Kingdoms, and early America Natives, India and China Opium war. Divide an conquer strategy. Now that strategy is used against your own people, the white people and what is so surprising? Divide the women and the men, and you conquer the society into complying slaves. Feel it, this is how the rest of the world feels.

You know what I really love about Araki? That he didn't stop Stone Ocean halfway through so that he could jack off over how progressive having two mixed-race, masculine women as his main characters was. When you focus on making good characters with defined personalities, goals, and flaws as part of a dynamic and interesting plot then the progress will follow naturally. Side-note: I can't fucking believe the author interrupted their book to insert a vaguely related college lecture they once gave.

Got some grief for not reading this book and saying it seems as bad as it looks. My reply was "you see a pile of crap, you don't have to sniff it to know it stinks". Kelly Sue is a clear example of "it's not what you can do, it's who you know" as her husband is Matt Fraction. All this "down with the patriarchy" stuff is hilarious. Considering it was men that cut down the trees that made the paper and worked the printers that the comic was printed on. Your comments about how only ONE person in the store looked "normal" reminded me: You should read the book "The Rebel Sell." The authors theorize that conformity as the engine of capitalism is a myth, and there is no need for the system to co-opt rebellion because the system has always used rebellion to fuel capitalism. It's a fun read, and I think they're spot on in many ways. It ties in with some of your general observations about conformity and oppression.

Quick summary of Elliot Rogers: 1. He is a fucking serial killer 2. His motives stems from being friendzoned way too many times. So he went out to get a high score only to become an hero at the end just like many mass shooters. So basically he is psychotic. 3. Feminists sensationalize his killing spree and use it as proof to their narrative on how dangerous the patriarchy is towards women (nevermind the male victims who were killed in his attack). 4. Elliot Rodgers, like many of the serial killers, ended up getting what they wanted in the end, which is attention, thanks to people like the author using them as platform for their cause against something. Now you know who Elliot Rogers is unfortunately. I feel dirty writing about the guy.

If you want some suggestions, I've been really enjoying Ed Brisson's work at Marvel! He's a name I didn't even really notice until this month, but his Bullseye and Iron Fist comics are very solid "crime flavor" reads, and I'm looking forward to him taking over on Old Man Logan, which is bringing back Maestro!Hulk. On the DC side of things, I've been consistently loving Detective Comics, Action Comics, Superman and Nightwing. I normally love Tom King's work but his Batman run has been sorely overwritten and overwrought... like he realizes he's on a flagship title and is overcompensating... it comes off as trying to be grandiose and failing miserably... which is a shame, because he was so damn good and subtle with Vision and The Omega Men.

These things are called "Genre Hijack" which is really the modern Triggypuff/SJW's greatest level of creativity and expression possible for them. One man's opinion. They take an existing genre, mostly "White Male" ones such as Sword and Sorcery, then turn it around and just have the women, token non-whites, etc. on top and the "Evil White Men" on bottom. In this case they probably did a 'gender studies' project on 'exploitation films' and tried to turn around various grindhouse movies from the 70s - both profiting off existing work and then not really adding just deconstructing it. Goes way back to the late 70s, early 80s industry shoot self in foot publishing did.
